Day 8 Snazzy on Trail. Continental Divide Trail 2024. Lordsburg to Silver City

Hey, my name is Snazzy. I earned that Trail name in 2019 on my first thru hike of the Pacific Crest Trail after that I hiked the Appalachian Trail in 2021 and now I’m going for my triple Crown on the continental divide Trail in 2024 thanks for following along as I make my way from Mexico to Canada.

I'm sorry to be stuck on the rattlesnakes, but even watch for them when you're walking paved roadways in the future. For some reason, they hang out just off the berm. Awesome videos. I wish they were longer I burn through them too quickly. Take care Snazzy!

I don’t think so. Once you get a day out of silver city the trees start showing up for some shade. That first stretch from the border though is pretty dang hot so I’m glad I had it for sure

Not so much blasted but it’s in and on everything. My problem is keeping it out of my shoes. Pretty sure that’s how my blisters started. Sweaty feet and gritty sand
