My son did the PCT a few years back. When he finished, I asked him what he had learned from the hike. He said he learned how to be homeless! That is a skill and I hope he never has to use it off trail.

I feel your foot pain! It is the worst! I use a small ball like tennis or a cork and massage my feet rolling it all over the tender spots. I have had achilles pain and planters not fun. Praying the two days help get it under control. Thank you for being a bright light and sharing your story! 🌟🥰

Hope your feet heal quickly. My favorite would be biscuits and gravy with side of onions and a good amount of Tabasco sauce

Of you've got plantar fasciitis, then active PT is what you need to do. It took me about two weeks of careful 3x daily PT to almost completely remove the pain, but it worked.

My dad used to say "If your feet hurt, everything hurts!" You must get those in shape first. Before you do anything else.

Boujee, Boujee, Bouj. Remember all those 30 milers you kept talking about and doing ever since you got back from the wedding. Well, it's time to do some Boujee subtraction and drop a few miles possibly 20'ish miles for a little bit.

Sorry your having foot pain again. I was surprised you were still hiking a lot of miles after the first time and after saying you'd do less (like 12).
