Love it! Being a quality person, friend, etc and valuing people that will be quality to you and rooted in your life is important. I love that you are reevaluating everything and doing what is truly best for you. I love that you said you are truly a blessing to people. I long to have quality friendships like that. I have a couple of people that I really call friends and one that I just recently felt like I've outgrown. Why is it so hard to find these types of friendships in adulthood?

I think it's hard to find friendships at a big age, because we do change as we grow older: we start thinking differently, wanting differently, expecting more, etc. I consider myself a good quality friend as well, and right now, I have 6 solid friendships. And by solid I mean 2 from childhood [I'm 46yrs old] and 4 from work -surprisingly- where we met over 10+yrs ago. With my "solid" friends I can be myself, garner/give support, I feel genuinely appreciated, no back stabbing, etc. We're just a good solid group of like minded women - and that can be hard to find and hold on to these days. I'm sooo grateful for my circle of friends. Honestly, I'm really not trying to make anymore! I mean I'll be courteous/cordial to others, but I'm not looking to add to my circle. We have to be mindful about letting our guards down and who we call true friends. I pray for the family of Shanquella Robinson - unfortunately, those were NOT her true friends and she unknowingly trusted them🐍. I'm not bashing anyone, but my mother always taught me to call a spade, a spade. And I'm in Savannah, Chanelle, not too far from Atlanta! 🍑🍑🍑

I appreciate your transparency! I lived in Atlanta for 3 years. Despite all of the negative things I've heard about the area, I enjoyed my time there. I moved out of Georgia over the summer and have been traveling and visiting different states to get a feel of where I want to settle. I actually might move back to Georgia. Not sure yet. I love your energy and would love to meet up or connect in Atlanta 💖.
