Sorry but marriage is toooo much of a financial RISK for men today and even if you think you've found Ms. Right, people often change (negatively) after a couple years of marriage and child-rearing. Family court in America is often very brutal to divorced men. I've decided to stay single forever because a cost-to-benefit analysis of marriage is pretty grim for men. There is a reason why 75-80% of divorces are initiated by women; they know that the courts will do almost anything to transfer as much wealth as possible from the ex-husband to them. No thanks...

Aside from that it really is a Sodom and Gomorrah type of city and it depresses me to see. Welcome to Atlanta - it is a little crazy here. I am from Metro Atlanta, but moved to South Florida for almost 10 years and moved back in 2014 and wow...it's a whole new world and dating here is very hard. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and you are so right on your points, especially about being too trusting and cleaning your spiritual palette. I will say there are still some great women out here who are grounded who are not out here looking for a walking ATM. Congrats on finding one yourself. I think my biggest question I have is being seen as a desirable woman who has her own life (not because I just wanted to be independent and not need a man, but you know... adults have to take care of themselves lol), active in the community and church, no children, never married, and is willing to make time for someone. I am not looking for the top 3% because a lot of those guys, unfortunately, are unrealistic and disrespectful mainly because their egos are pumped up with the attention they get. I get rejected by a lot of men who also are not interested in developing a healthy relationship and are not willing to wait for physical intimacy. Anyway - not wanting to ramble here, but I would love to understand the male mind when it comes to that. sorry that I didn't come across your info in time to see your panel - I am so sure I would have gotten some great insight there.
