Barbara from NJ here!! The Poly was my parents favorite place to stay. Mom was one of the first 3,000 people we lost to Covid in NJ. Dad had some issues but missed her terribly after 57 years of marriage. he died a little over a year after her. Mom LOVED the flowers at the Poly. I’m behind on the videos, getting caught up this weekend. Christian, I’m sorry you’re going through challenges right now. Growing up, especially now, is hard. So many challenges all of us that are older never had to deal with. It’s not fair and I’m sorry. My daughter is 19 and has had struggles with depression and anxiety. But I will say that she leaned on me for her safe space. Sounds like you have that with your parents. Share your struggles and parents, just listen without diminishing. I’m sure that’s what you already do. Christian, focus on your feelings when you have a positive day. Focus on the fact that you have them and then try your best to remember that you’ll be feeling better again, maybe tomorrow, maybe next week, but you’ll be better soon. Eventually you’ll see that you’re having more happy days. That’s what happened with my daughter. She has very few rough days now but when she does, she embraces what she’s feeling instead of fighting them as she knows it won’t last too long. Sorry so long. But I felt the love of your grownups coming through.

The grand destino tower was added in 2019 with 545 rooms. Toledo and dahlia lounge and three rivers bridges bar and grill were also added then. The original Coronado resort opened in 1997

My son and I spent a weekend here. He just turned 8. It became one of his favourite resorts and he couldn’t believe it was a moderate resort. The fact that he knows the difference means I take him too much! We didn’t get to eat at Three Bridges but we did have a quick service dining plan.

I'm sure you & your family are all missing one another as well. I can only relate in having to stay over night for 30 nights at 3 different pet sitting clients i had back when i use to do pet sitting. I was thankful for being able to go home during the day to sometimes take a nap because sometimes some of the pups i got to help care for, it was like having a newborn again who woke up every few hours or so to either get fed or to get a diaper change. Chris, years ago (before the tower was built) I was lucky enough to stay at Coronado Springs for an entire week with my work, and attend a few work-related convention events that were put on for us. It was one of the best stays EVER on Disney property. The hotel staff was great, and it was so comfortable and relaxing there, I honestly didn’t want to leave! It makes me want to book another stay there, just because of the guest feeling so welcomed, and the relaxed nature of the resort. I think it’s one of the best “hidden gems” of all the Disney Resorts.

Many people consider this hotel as a “Moderate Plus” because it’s on the higher end of the moderate scale. It blurs the line between moderate and deluxe. Great video Chris!

We stayed here in 2022. We were a block away from the main pool and walking to the tower wasn't so bad, but the bus loop was confusing. We finally figured out the order of the bus loop by the time it was to leave. Lol the Villa del Lago is a great restaurant. I got food to go and enjoyed the view, while I waited.

Chris, you're doing fine. In fact better than most. Other sites wouldn't even attempt this hard of a task. On top of that, I couldn't imagine doing this in a TIE everyday in that heat and humidity! Don't stress over this. You'll make yourself sick. It'll be hard enough to get through the last days of this if you stress yourself and wear yourself out. That won't be good for anybody. Coronado is a very hard one to do. Most of the deluxe are smaller although they have more features. Pace yourself and don't worry. You have a huge devoted following that likes you and your family and that won't change.

We stayed in Club rooms in Gran Destino Tower & really really liked them. The Kronos Club is an outstanding perk of the Club rooms. The resort is a 10 minute ride to Animal Kingdom, 15 minutes to Epcot & Hollywood studios & Disney Springs, but 25+ minutes to Magic Kingdom. This resort is huge & widely spread out. If your room is in the Ranchos or nearby in the Casitas you'll have a long walk to get to dining. We all agreed that we would stay there again next time.

We have stayed here a few times. The tower is nice after a long day at the parks. We got to stay in the new tower when it opened in 2019. The business lobby is the original lobby before the tower was built. The tower was inspired by the animated short Destino. For a convention resort it is still quiet.

Big place with BRIDGES for exploring...so much fun. That big pool is cool but a closed slide, bummer. Making a meal out of appetizers...YUMMY!! All looked so good! Hamburger bun breakfast sandwich is a Big NO! What your doing comparing the same thing is Awesome! It Really helps A Lot! This has got to be very tiring. I pray you get enough sleep every night to recoup. THANK YOU FOR DOING THIS. YOU ARE AWESOME!

Thank you so much for these videos. My husband and I enjoy watching these together. We were first introduced to your channel as we were planning our trip to Disneyland. My husband deals with vertigo and can’t do many rides. You have so much content in your videos of all the things to do in Disney that doesn’t require riding rides. We were at Disneyland at then end of April/first of May for Pixar fest. We wished our paths would have crossed, but they didn’t. I have only been to Disneyworld once, 23 years ago and stayed off property but have always wondered where I should stay if I go again, which I would like to! I am really enjoying these videos and making notes of which ones I like the most and sharing this amazing series with my friends because it's so complete! I love what you are doing Chris! Biggest thing I think you might be missing is the different rooms. The cast might be able to help you view a room. That might be cool to see. I know the themed ones at Port Orleans were pretty nice, even though they are a bit older now.
