Sadly there is less snow in the Netherlands these last decades. One of my most treasured childhood memories Is going to the Efteling in the winter when it snowed. Truly magical .

1. Disneyland (only because of variety, because theming in Efteling is high/next level) 2. Disneyland (amount of attractions and variety. Efteling misses true high quality thrill rollercoasters.) 3. Efteling for sure. Nature is amazing. 4. Disneyland (bigger) 5. Efteling (food is on most areas good quality) 6. Efteling. Even score with close win to Efteling as it has more charm and Efteling theming is a bit better than Disney. I think you can not really compare these two theme parks as they are completely different in their backgrounds and history wherefor you have to understand the culture of it to appreciate. Not even talk the huge difference in budget here. Likewise the Efteling is based on family gathering purpose with Europian fairytail setting as the mainline with local culture designer Anton Pieck (founder of design of Efteling theming). While disney is based on Walt Disney designs of Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, etc. combined with side stories based on the Europian fairytail setup as 'Sleeping Beauty', 'Red Riding Hood', 'Rapunzel', 'Snowwhite', etc. modified on American culture. Disney figures has more fame worldwide then the fairytails in Europe. So people can more identify themselves with Disney then Efteling. In the last few years when KZbinrs like youselves became the 2nd television like exposure to many people, parks like Efteling became more visible to the world. So Efteling started to prepare and adjust the park more international. Not only with translations, but on many assest so the foreign visitor can identify more easily with the overal atmosphere. I think nothing really beats Disney if it comes to the amount different rides and variety of different areas. This because Efteling basically only have one theme, which is fairy tails.

Even if there isn’t much open for early entrée there in DP, I would still get up early and go to walk around and maybe beat the crowds for at least one ride. Is there enough there at DP to spend 2 full days?

I used to work at Disneyland.. so i took the train to where i live for 3 yrs straight... I went to school in Hollywood.. so i know that Red line and the metrolink .. i loved the train and subway ..

Speaking of "a-e" tickets, when my dad got an electric wheelchair, he would sometimes do a fun thing for all us little kids in the family where we would sit on his lap and he would hold us in while spinning the chair around in a circle as fast as possible. He called it his "e ticket" ride. All the kids loved it and we all got sad when we got too big.

My sister was in one one year. I got to see one ( without ticket) just stood on main street speaker jon voight. HE said it was a moving experience for him as well. The next time had a reservation and seat :) and waited. And at last moment was cancelled due to rain ( the speaker all state commerical man also on show 24 ) came out and apologized in His great voice that they wanted to protect their voices. We awhed by understood. Its a wonderful experience so glad you are experiencing and the message of peace is real

Chris you and Amanda do a great job with your videos. Don't think otherwise. Even with mistakes, that is just what I call "human-proof"! Example, as you're going back to Paris, I still watch, even though you couldn't PAY me to go back to that awful place! Both the city AND the park. The WORST cast members in all the WORLD are DL Paris, especially for those from the states. They KNOW that they can treat you badly and even LIE to you. But that local EU people not so much because there may be consequences from a local. There won't be from someone from Asia or the states. Parisians both in the city and at the park, have EARNED their reputations for being rude, aloof, and snooty. We saw it first hand. Whereas Shanghai was the exact opposite. Also, unlike the U.S. most of Europe prefer trains. they may not be as fast, but it's NOT because they're "saving the planet" or any such thing. It's mostly their culture. They have trams and trains to EVERYTHING. Through town, to work, to visit, etc. Plus, as airports are now always on the outskirts of towns or cities, Trains take you right to the heart of the city. So you can get closer to where you want to be without additional trouble or hassle.

I never heard about the center of Disneyland or the crest for the Disney family. All the others I knew about but I did believe about Marilyn Monroe being the model for Tink. I’ve been going to D-land since 1960 and have seen so many changes. I’m 72

I have been to the Efteling many times I would go at least once a year for at least ten years but I have been to that poffertjes restaurant only once and after waiting allmost half an hour we left, the workers were just talking and joking with each other but were too lazy at the time to work so they didn't. I don't know if the management has changed in that restaurant but back then the service was junk, but fortunately there are two other restaurants on the property that give a good service so after that time we only went to those. I also always loved the waffles at the little waffle house near the Piraña, everytime we whent there i had to get at least one.

I used to live in Southern California and grew up going to Disneyland in Anaheim almost every year. I moved to Sweden 18 years ago and 2 years ago I did a 2 week non-stop European Vacation and spent 2 full days at Disney Paris, and I have to admit it doesn’t let down, especially the Haunted Mansion and it’s exterior design - very creepy looking as it should be. Of course the original Disneyland Anaheim will always be dear to my heart ♥️👍🏻😁
