Day 90: Waterproof Plywood Alternative - Testing Tools With Foamlite - Building a Teardrop Camper

Today I worked the Roechling Foamlite with router, table saw, jig saw, hand plane and forstner bit. I run into a few challenges, but figure them out. Installed a bunch of panels including the custom bathroom sink panels. Lots of maths used today.

Don't use the miter tool and the fence, use one or the other. Otherwise you could get some nasty kickback.

@@BuddyWhoDoesStuff 3:30 seconds "When cutting a piece of wood, using the miter gauge and the fence together can cause the wood to bind between the fence and the blade which can lead to potential kickback, causing harm. The miter gauge is used for crosscuts or any cut which severs a piece at an angle. The fence is used for ripping cuts or a cut made parallel to the grain of the wood. Therefore, each should be used independently depending on the operation you are performing."

@@shannonswyatt Ahhhh. Now I understand. A sled would have been the best option for what I needed to do, but I did not have one available.
