Bad luck there. Credit as usual for persevering after your initial blunder, and even the second one. That was a strong player who used their time well and was quick to see tactics and set traps. That’s what I’d expect from a Lichess 2300.

I have a question, those arrows u are making, they would help me in a live game, isnt it a bit cheating? Cause it makes it easier to calculate future positions
@BrianMillerChess21 күн бұрын
Understandable concern but it's part of online chess and by no means is it cheating. I recommend you start using them as well.

@@BrianMillerChess It’s definitely not cheating but I would counter that and say you should only use arrows for calculation if you’re only an online player and you have no interest in improving at OTB chess. The same goes for other visual aids such as square highlighting and clicking on a piece to see its legal moves. For OTB chess and for online chess nothing beats training your calculation and visualisation. Even online, arrows only help so far and are much slower than calculating in your head. And worst, I find when I start drawing arrows on the board in my OTB games my opponents get quite animated! 😀

@juleslondon3088 Lmao, can't argue with that
