Wait! What? You were first in the parade to get to the road crossing? How did that happen, LOL 😂

You are really doing a number on my wanderlust. It's been so long since I've been out west, and then you show me places like the Wind River Range and Yellowstone. I know I won't be hiking 20 miles a day, but I know I gotta go!

Energizer to the rescue!🐰Sticks out his lucky thumb and becomes the Snack Savior, thus sparing his trail family from starvation💀(or worse -- cannibalism🍖). Oh, the humanity!😉

I'm glad you're out there representing for us oldies. There are a lot on the AT and PCT but very few on the CDT that I've seen. Glad you're out there having fun 🙂

The landscape of Yellowstone is truly magical. Being able to see it from trails that take you away from the roads and crowds was a formative experience for me. Thank you for sharing!

I prefer the 6 AM hike over the 5:30 am hike but neither looked like they had bushwhacking or rocks involved so it's all good. And it looks like you must choose your hot tub location wisely if you don't want to get burned 😬 What a special treat!

Hi Mike. Beautiful trail. Lake and Geyser were amazing. Nice to have a Hot Tub on trail. That was an amazing effort you did to chance hitching a ride for food for the whole family. The size of the lake is unreal. I thought Nash left is underwear on the pole? Be Strong, Be Safe, and thanks for taking us on this Journey.

Morning, Mike. What a way to start a day - a soak in the hot tub. Looked to be an easy trail. Great views across the lakes. Kind of you to make the grocery run for everyone. Glad you got a quick hitch in and out. Love watching your videos. You do a great job with them. Take care. Stay safe. See you tomorrow.

You had me concerned for a second when you started to tell the Grants Village story... "I didn't film what happened...😲" Somehow my mind went straight to bear encounter.🤪 So relieved. That hot tub creek. 💯

Excellent video as usual. One note for what it’s worth; I heard a fat metabolism researcher say that even someone with 4% body fat has 50-60 thousand reserve calories to draw on.
