EVERY Morning.
Well, this one came out of nowhere! I wrote it after I realized I'd watched the pilot for GLITCH & Gooseworx's INCREDIBLE Amazing Digital Circus animated series TEN TIMES of my own volition. The team turned around all the art in about 2 and a half weeks, and I was able to edit the video in two days!
The song itself is heavily inspired by both the "Just For Kids Entertainment" VHS logo and "Scat Rat" from The Mouse and His Child, with a focus on big, booming Brass Synths to be as aggressively happy as one would imagine a Digital Circus to be.

Man, you're probably the only people who didn't villanize Caine as much in here as others. People forget that Caine isn't some malicious entity behind all, he's an accidental antagonist, aka, he isn't trying to be evil at all, he's just trying to keep the members of the circus sane but unintentionally doing bad for them due to barely understanding humans at all.

I love the idea that Caine genuinely does care about the welfare of the other characters. He wants to help them, but he just doesn't know how. The best he can do is keep their minds occupied so that they don't go insane, but inevitably he's going to run out of ideas for new things they can do. He's basically a reverse-AM.

I like how it took about 3 days of not coming out for Zooble to abstract, it serves to remind you why the adventures are there at all. To be honest, now that i think about it, it's a good piece of advice. Go outside from time to time, staying alone and isolated without anything to do can and in fact will affect you emotionally and mentally, even physically if you're an extreme case. Take care of yourselves

The abstraction monster at the end implies the Zooble abstracted. Which makes sense within the context of the song given that not only did Zooble not even show up on the final day to tell Caine to go f%$# himself, but it's Zooble really never left their room due to the song and given that it's implied even before pomni showed showed up, is Zooble really just closed themselves back in their room every single day then we wouldn't have seen them in episode 1 and they'd go crazy a lot faster

I think one of the hardest parts of making fans song is trying to find middle ground between being catchy song while still feeling like it is accurately portraying the topic of song. This song, however, not only finds a way to portray the characters and setting that feels like a accurate extension of the show, but also has the vibe that the series emits to a T. RECD! An incredible song about one of the coolest indie animations to grace this platform only 4-5 days after Twinsomnia?!?! You and your team are spoiling us rotten! The brass and woodwind band score, the chorus’ cheerful repetitiveness, and the happy-go-lucky lyrics make the song sound just like a kid’s show, which exemplifies the saccharine monotony our protagonists must be going through! Not to mention your characterization of Caine is PERFECT!!! In fact, that’s the case for all the characters (especially with the spot on impressions)! At the risk of sounding like a broken record, when haven’t you done well at this? The pearly-white ringmaster straddles the line just right between intentional torture and social obliviousness to how the other characters are feeling. I think the general consensus is that he’s just as trapped as anyone else, limited by the confines of his programming to help others without true knowledge. I actually felt some chills and a little empty inside myself when Caine began glitching, Pomni was going through an existential crisis, and then he outright admits that he’s struggling to keep everyone sane! And this emotional roller coaster lasted ONLY 3 MINUTES! Even when you’re on limited time and budgeting, you always come through with an excellent (micro)story for that follows the exposition-climax-resolution pattern accordingly! Putting aside the rest of your masterpieces, this is exemplary of exceptional creative writing talent! Bubble singing the Wakey-Wallet song that lives rent free in my head was a nice touch. Also…ZOOBLE ABSTRACTED?!?! Did not see that one coming! Especially considering that nihilistic apathy is her core personality. Maybe she was worse off than we thought. If that happens in the official show, which is TOTALLY still fair game, I’m giving you all the credit! The vibrant almost comic-book like art style for this absolutely matched the circus aesthetic! Actually, the painted texture-heavy art styles remind me a lot of vintage circus posters, which is even more fitting! Great job for everyone involved! Especially for the character close ups and Caine’s worried poses with Google’s dino game in his eyes! Thank you guys so so much for going the extra mile and pumping out another piece of great content so soon! TADC is going to drive in a new golden age of indie animation, and I’m ecstatic that you (and LongestSoloEver with “No Exit”!) are going to be its chauffeur on the musical front with this catchy homage! Get some much deserved rest after this! I love this song so much! The art is visually gorgeous, the concept of the song is good, and the rhyming scheme in Caine's POV is just ❤. It's one of those few songs that makes me happy.

I was looking forward to you making something for this and boy howdy, I was not disappointed. This was wonderful!! Definitely gives the vibe of the Digital Circus with it’s (mostly) chipper tune which is easy to sing and the fact it happens EVERY DAY, like Caine would definitely do that. Also the little gags that happen throughout the song are fantastic, Caine getting stuck like a record player, Bubble interrupting with each verse, and Zooble choosing to not “come out and play” every time. Everyone did an amazing job with voice acting too, very in-character with all their different personalities. That’s all, keep being awesome RecD!

Gotta say, actually quite liked this one, captures the personalities and voices of the characters very well, as well as the show itself I'd say. Still manages to sound fun and bouncy in a way while still giving a feel for unease, just like the show itself I think. Also I'm like 99% sure the abstraction monster is Zooble, didn’t participate for two days, stayed in their room, during the third day they didn’t even answer the door like Kaufmo, and all the other residents are accounted for when the monster bursts through the wall, yup it's probably Zooble. Really snuck in your ideas and fan theories into this one didn'tcha... But, yesh, good song that captures the correct energy with a silly implied side plot, can't wait to hear the actual Voice Actors redub the whole thing for the laughs.
