What an absolutely beautiful place, thank you for taking me there👍🏻❤️ I am Dutch (father)and Russian ( mother) but have never tasted any Dutch foods except for Dutch chocolate 🤣 Looks like you had lots of fun looking at the Tulips and lovely Windmill everything looks so beautiful . Not many people, makes me wonder if it’s a popular place for Japanese people? How can a place this large afford to operate with so few visitors? 🤷‍♀️

Shinichi and Satoshi, thanks for this extensive, wonderful theme park tour!!! YET, SO MISS YOUR CHEERFUL FACES AND VOICES...IT'S LIKE A DAY TOUR WITHOUT SUNSHINE...GBU2 & STAY WELL Y'ALL!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤ "...Huis Ten Bosch, which opened on 25 March 1992, is located around 12 km southeast of Sasebo. It is on Hario Island, essentially an area of reclaimed marshland on the main coastline of Kyushu facing Ōmura Bay. Its location in this area of the country reflects the historical relations between the Netherlands and Japan,[2] which began in 1609 when a trading post was opened by the Dutch in Hirado, an island off the coast of Kyushu around 35 km northwest of central Sasebo. Huis Ten Bosch is open daily from 9.00 a.m. to 9.30 p.m. (9.00 a.m. to 8.30 p.m. from December to February). Huis Ten Bosch Station, operated by the Kyushu Railway Company, serves as the station for trains arriving from either Nagasaki or Sasebo. The park can also be reached by boat from Nagasaki Airport or Sasebo via Huis Ten Bosch Marina and Harbour..." (Quote from WikiP.)...

Every time I see Huis Ten Bosch, I wonder just what is in all those buildings. There are so many two, three, four story buildings, many of which don't have shops in them. Are they just empty shells with windows and curtains?

The real windmills also spin without sails…
@lars7747
@lars7747 Жыл бұрын
If a windmill isn't actively draining water or milling grain it doesn't take much to make them spin. It's actually bad to keep the sails on then since it will spin too fast and damage the mechanism inside. During storms they have to be chained in place
