I will NEVER forget Joscho playing at John Petrucci's Guitar Universe in Florida... I mean people came because of John and progressive metal playing, but when Josho played his gig he got standing ovations on EVERY song and DESTROYED all the other players including JP himself. The only one standing a chance was Tosin Abasi. Totally impressive and made the whole event better. Day after everyone was talking about him, including John himself. A true master of chops and musical expression! In addition to that, It was really nice talking to him and his wife - totally down to earth. I am a Fan now!

Joscho is absolutely one of the top practitioners of Gypsy Jazz guitar but I lean more towards traditional jazz played on electric. I would absolutely love to see him play a concert with this lineup with the addition of clarinet for some Benny Goodman style tunes. That would be just phenomenal.

A really cool toe tapper and the vibraphone player adds that nice layer of twinkle sound to give Joscho and the gang that extra smooth groove. Quite impressive and most importantly giving this particular track that sound that only Joscho's group csn give it. Thanks guys for another wonderful 😂😊share.

what sets this guy apart from so many is is musicality. his lines and their execution are just superior to most others known for their improvisational chops. there is an elegance and polish to them like no other. :)

Another outstanding performance. Super too, to have one that was professionally recorded. Your treatment of the song deserved to be gotten down for keeps. As it was, I was already blown away by the hand held camera capture version previously presented from the "Jazztival im Stöffel-Park" concert - with all of its echoing reverb and driving swing. Got to admit that that Fender Telecaster you used in that one sounded great too.
