I've been collecting the Day Designer notebooks and mini notebooks for a few years now but haven't used them because the covers are just so darn nice. I LOVE your idea for turning the notebooks into a daily planner. I use a weekly planner as my go-to and only use a daily layout when my days get chaotic. Turning the notebooks into an undated daily is an awesome idea! I'd also like to see if anyone else has any other ideas for those.

I use notebooks for studies on topics of interest or personal development notes or notes from courses or lectures. A commonplace notebook is one I have used for years and have many of. Recipes, poems, family stories. A pretty notebook is an invitation to collect treasure. Lately I've been using notebooks for my daily planner.

I may have found "the one". I've used all kinds of planners and many have been almost the perfect kind for how I sort. I'm mainly a monthly, weekly type but once in a while I need a daily to break things out. This is gonna be my next planner!

Thank you for sharing this. I had no idea there were that many useful pages in the back of their weekly. I am pretty much thinking I am done with trying to squeeze it all into one planner and going to give in and do a weekly and a notebook instead. Which one for both is to be determined but I have a growing list of contenders now.

I think those daily pages would make great project pages tbh. I would probably cover the Today with a sticker of some sort and use them that way. Could be a work week page too. Where its one page per week for your job duties for the the whole week.

I think I would like having just enough daily pages to use on occasion, I think 1x a week on average would be great for me. I’d probably use them more for a weekly/running to do list and then break things down in the weekly area by day to day I typically hate coiled planners tho but definitely an interesting design to consider

I also am not a fan of a coil and so put my Day Designer on discs which worked fine. And this was with the cheaper version from Target so I imagine the more expensive one would work on discs or rings as well. Best of luck.

The weekly layout is similar to the Simplified weekly. I wonder if I would prefer the blank spaces instead of the narrow simplified lines?

I like the layout especially the undated today section. How do you feel about the double coil? I have found them not as easy to flip pages and turn a lot of pages at one time.

Wire-O coils don't usually flip as easy...that is true. You just have to decide how much that bothers you. And I agree with you. It's usually just on a big group of pages.

Thank you for doing this review I was nearly sold on this planner but 48 daily pages is just not enough. I usually only need a daily page for the weekend and if my math is right there are 96 weekend days in a calendar year?! Correct me if I am incorrect. Thank you again for sharing.

As a full-time worker the shared weekend space is a deal breaker, but I do LOVE the concept of daily pages, if only there was enough for each weekend in the year

The weekly planner looked great until I saw the weekend. I do love the Monday start for the month, but I need equal space for weekend days.

I wish Day Designer would upograde to 80lb paper. Seems trivial, but never end up being happy without. Paper snoot- kind of an obnoxious trait. :)

@@AmandasFavorites it's interesting because Simplified did. I am not sure how many people care, but within their niche it might be significant. And, otherwise, they have so much I love. @Day Designer---- what say you. :)
