I have a question! can u directly apply to ivey business or do u have to apply to western and take some kind of business course? Because ik I want to study business!

Hey! You can apply for Advanced Entry Opportunity (AEO) from high school which gives you "pre-Ivey" status in a way but you can take whichever program you want for the first two years of undergrad where you're not in Ivey. You have to maintain requirements which are listed in the AEO requirements that you can find on Ivey's website but in short, you do have to apply to Western, get accepted to that Western program first and then Ivey! But... if you don't have AEO, you can still apply except after second year as an external applicant from any university/Western (there are different requirements for external applicants which are also on their website!) @@lathigaarul9006 You'll have your mandatories, but in terms of electives there's a "pre-ivey" course you can take in first year which is bus1220 although some people (including myself) didn't take it- you'll want to do some reading on this one before deciding haha As for other electives, choose whichever subjects you enjoy! I'd recommend choosing some non-business courses to balance it out!!

@@theguotwinsHi thanks so much for this video! I was wondering what meeting the extracurricular requirement to maintain AEO status looks like? I’m from another province and I have no idea what extracurriculars I could join, and if they would even be enough to keep AEO.

@@mitoesis1450 Thanks for the comment! Any extracurriculars can maintain AEO status- usually a variety of school clubs, volunteering (on campus or off campus) or any entrepreneurial ventures are all things that would count! These all qualify and are pretty easy to get involved with so this shouldn't be something you need to be worried about :)
