Ahh the late night grind. I have my mid term next week as well so what I usually do is that I fall asleep with head on the table lol. I take a nap this way and then get back to studying and grind for as long as I can. Works everytime 😂

In your opinion what would be the best laptop for an upcoming engineering student? Also I love your videos, and just wanted to let you know that you are one of the main influences that led me to choose to study engineering, keep it up!!!:)
@JayCity6 ай бұрын
Thanks for the support! It's fantastic to hear that my content has inspired you to pursue engineering! In my opinion, I believe touch screen Windows laptops (with decent specs) where the screen can flat on itself with pen support would probably be the best laptops for engineering students (but not Surface Pros or Surface Books). I don't personally have one, but the Asus Zenbooks seems to fit the bill. If other viewers reading this comment have suggestions, feel free to pitch in as well!

Heyy Jay, Okay so firstly I gotta compliment you on the filming, the b-rolls, shots are so cinematic, high quality production fr!! Secondly this is a long shot but I'm between jobs and really trying to get out there and gain more experience, I was wondering if you'd be down for me to subtitle your videos I'm flexible with payment, so feel free to compensate whatever works for you. I'm okayy with emailing you a sample subtitled clip from one of your own videos to show you my work! Let me know bro, you could really help me out! Hope to hear from you soon! Best, Rushabh.
@JayCity6 ай бұрын
Hey Rushabh, thanks for the compliments! I'm not looking for someone to subtitle my videos at the moment, but thank you for your offer. For more business inquiries, you could email me at jasonn.ng.410@gmail.com. Thanks!

Hi Jason! I just had a quick question about your laptop of choice. I was interested in going into engineering and I was wondering if a macbook would be okay instead of windows(due to preference). If so, what specs for the macbook did you select? What would you recommend?
@JayCity6 ай бұрын
Hey, that's a really good question. A MacBook isn't preferred in Engineering because there are several engineering apps that only run on Windows, like SolidWorks, Microcap, and LabView. So if you could only get one laptop, I would highly recommend going with something Windows. However, it is indeed possible to run Windows via Window's Parallel and run *some* of the engineering apps, but not all of them. In the case that you can't run an app on your Mac, you could use a school computer lab for those times. If we decide to get a Macbook get something with at least 16GB of RAM, and if you're thinking of running Windows Parallel on Mac, then get at least 32GB of RAM. Any M series chip should be powerful enough for your needs, but a more powerful one will make things run more smoothly, so that's up to you to decide based on your budget. I personally have the M1 Max and 64GB of unified memory, but it's only cuz I'm a content creator and actually need that power. For everyone else, my Macbook is definitely overkill lol. I hope this helps!
