It's odd that people still think of KZbin as just a stepping stone to TV or Netflix / HBO - I would watch your videos anywhere but THANK YOU for being on KZbin. I feel like KZbin allows a better opportunity for relevancy & growth as a personal brand. Always amazed by the sheer volume of quality content you're putting out.
@dericksozo11359 жыл бұрын
I completely agree. My consumption of media comes from KZbin and I don't watch television. Many, many people of my generation are the same. TV is dead. KZbin will be what my generation stays with because that's what we grew up with. I'm betting that's what Google is betting on.
@PaulKirtley9 жыл бұрын
+Sara Dietschy I completely agree. I receive similar comments related to my content and my niche (wilderness skills/bushcraft/survival). There's an expectation you want your own Discovery channel show, not just from viewers but also from TV producers and casting agents. Even they don't get KZbin. But I think +gary vaynerchuck epitomised the smart thinking the other day when he said to the Snapchat guys "I don't want to be on TV, I want to be on Snapchat". :-)

Indeed Sara. Being able to tell your own story. Being able to take control of a your own narrative and deliver true value to your fans, followers and niche, rather than be a pawn of a large TV network with it's own agenda. Cutting out the middleman and giving more access to the authentic than ever before. It's a big shift...

Hey Gary this is probably the realist comment you'll ever get. This video has inspired me, I have my own business and we make money but I'm only doing 8 hours a day the bare minimum. You've enlightened me to my own self motivation and I'm going to challenge myself everyday, every week, every year. I want to work 9 hours a day, then 10 then 11. I can't start all at once but I'm going to grind my way up there. Just wanted to say thanks because you helped me by helping yourself.

What is unique about this daily experience with the Daily Vee episodes is each episode is another chance to "job shadow" a real hard working entrepreneur. There is only so much a blog, a book, or a course can teach someone. This is a daily, on-the-job, shadow kind of experience. You, Gary, have created an entirely new learning module. And I thank you.

Gary, I do not comment on many videos, but I felt the need to reiterate the insane value these DailyVees bring to your subscribers. Every 20 minutes of a DailyVee blows any 15-week college course on entrepreneurship out of the water and back into 1992. Thanks for the unwavering value!

Wow 3:15 really hit me hard, that is exactly why I do the things I do. I do what I would have wanted younger me to have that would have made life a bit easier. Having encouragement, a resource an example of exactly what I wanted to execute on. People dramatically underestimate how important these things are and the difference they make in a person's life...

This Dailyvee pushed me from being the Dailylurker to giving you this comment. Genuine and authentic stuff. Over the last six months, I've moved from 8 hrs/day to 12 hrs/day work ethic (mon-sat) in my entrepreneurship. If you had not been pumping out this stuff, I wound not have realized it was possible. Now looking for ways to make every sec of mine more effective, not just for business but for the people in my life in general. At 29 i get the feel that I am already late, the sense of urgency is real. The rants, observations, snapshots into meetings are adding real value with context. Wherever possible keep this coming, it is the best part of the dailyvees. Thanks a ton!

Thank you so much Gary for a great episode, the end there was very touching. We do see how hard your work. I can't speak for everyone but I've never underestimated how hard your day is and while Daily Vee is a wake up call on this to some, for me it is just validation of what I already knew to be true. You live this, and sharing it is encourages other people to live (hopefully) their own version of it. Carlos Gil and I were talking about the "Gary Vee Effect", and I was telling him that Gary doesn't make me want to be the "Next Gary Vee" or "Lil Gary" he makes me want to become "Roberto Blake" and it is a job position that I honestly have to fight for every single day. But watching you makes me understand how to notice moments when I need to work harder or where I need to be more self aware. So honestly... just thank you for being you man. Looking forward to the new book. As usual, getting it in Audio, Print and Ebook form.

Just gets better and better. Also DRock on the music editing this episode and the taxis past the front door in that scene was epic. Like almost surreal. As this expands out in going to really enjoy this journey. The stuff I learn every day, wake up every morning walk the dog and listen to podcast episodes and work my ass off come home to an empty flat as not many people understand the isolation of working this hard, the sacrifices you have to make to do this. But to catch up with Gary's day and see someone else doing the same makes you understand. It's worth it, a lot of people don't get it. They think you miss out on so much..... But to me I fee like doing what i do and working so hard really gives me so much people will never understand. I raved over the ask Gary vee show, but this is something else. I'm all in. Keep up the good work, it motivates me to do the same. 🔑
