@Delila Smith yep, well the campus is like spread out through the city a bit, so Iv only been in the law school

@Delila Smith been probably over a year since I last went, but it is very modern inside, there is lots of classrooms and lecture halls, for the law school there are court rooms for (I'm guessing depending on tbe course but idrk) you to practice real examples and get experience. I obviously dont know much about the courses as I dont go there, so I'd watch whenever it comes out the induction video as they talk about the different courses, and what they offer

@Delila Smith I'm 14, and a musician Haha, it's my dad that did his degree at Nottingham trent, then became part time lecturer, full time lecturer, and worked his way up to now being head of post graduate degrees at the law school.

@Delila Smith nah that's not cringy, that was the same with my dad, well when he was at school, I think mid to late 90s he wasnt good at all, I think he did gardening part time, but he really wasnt good at any subject, until he decided to try law, and he found it super easy, got a super high grade n then the university offered him a part time job in the early 2000s which is ridiculously lucky cos u normally need a PhD to be a lecturer

Hello, the city is wonderful. Loads of night places as it is a student city (several Wetherspoons, about 5 clubs and plenty of bars) food is amazing as there are many high end and low end places, multiple Nandos, McDonalds, Subways but there are also loads of better places and even a Taco Bell. City is beautiful especially when there is sun and there are loads of cool places to visit such as Nottingham Castle so do plenty of research! :)

sorry for a late response, it was my exam period. I believe whatever subject you decide to study, you should have general knowledge in that field. However, I found that in most courses, our university makes it very helpful in the first year covering generic models and modules to help you get a greater and broader understanding later in the future. It would be beneficial to read up on what your course is about and to do some background reading before arriving.

There are course inductions with pre starting tasks. This could include recommended reading or even a task they want you to carry out before your first workshop or lecture

Don't be scared. You will improve your English and your pronunciation with time. Just practice it. I speak French and i had the same fear. I will also study at NTU. Really. You can do every thing with hard work.

Nottingham Trent University has a new and refurbished medicine facility campus however, I know from my friends that University of Nottingham is still a better place to study any type of medicine course. Nottingham city has two uni's so hopefully that helps you decide!

Hello I am a third year Law (full time) student at NTU. The teaching method varies between modules, but generally you will have a lecture and a seminar for each module. Every lecture is recorded to allow people to listen to the recording (this could be because you were ill and missed the lecture), though no guarantee can be made as to the technology working every time. Academic support is available at all times through multiple channels, including asking questions in seminars, speaking to or emailing seminar tutors, speaking to or emailing personal tutors, emailing the lecturer, and speaking with other students. For example, I am currently studying the Law of Evidence which is taught via the SCALE-UP system (www.ntu.ac.uk/about-us/academic-development-and-quality/innovations-in-learning-and-teaching/scale-up) and I am able to email my tutor at any time if I need clarification or explanation on a certain topic. Law students benefit from the services that the employability team provide, helping law students secure training contracts, vacation schemes and other job prospects by advising on how to write the best CV/ cover letter for the specific job, conducting mock interviews with students (as well as other services). Although this is specific to law students, the employability student helps any student studying any course.

Cameron E completely depends on your accommodation, most private accommodations are very modern and the NTU provided ones are mixed between standard and more modern
