Great to see you back Jon! I’ve been unfortunately hit by the tech layoffs back in February. It wasn’t a matter of performance, the entire development team got laid off. I’m hanging in there, got a couple of interviews in the pipeline. I’ve never been through layoffs myself so it’s been tough.

Good to see you back! I noticed you use your laptop closed in the vertical stand. Have you found issues with it overheating? I want to do that but it runs pretty hot during work. Curious your experience with that!

Thank you, I'm glad to be back! Do you use a macbook? Some macbooks overheat if you charge on the left side, so I always charge on the right and I haven't had any issues with overheating

@@yourfriendintech Yes i do, its a 2019 intel 16". I've read about that so I only use the ports on the right side. Still the laptop gets extremely hot to the point where I'd worry about reducing cooling with it closed. Time for me to ask IT for an upgrade :D
