Jim and Penny I agree but it's also important not to idealize the lives of others if you're not living them, I think it's just important to remind people that it's still work even if it's something you enjoy in your off time, it is super exhausting and time consuming. Thank you!

I'm exhausted after riding the 2-5 at the most horses I do a day so I can't imagine how tiring it must be to ride a much bigger number than that. Although I'm sure it must be fun, it's way more difficult and work-like than someone would initially think.

Katie Farr I do things in the evenings or on the weekend day where I don't work early the next time. Trust me, it does become work when it's a job like that I don't really know anyone who would like riding that many horses if they don't own them or have to to get paid because it honestly is a lot

Yeah no doubt! I've ridden 3 a day once and it was getting to be a bit much for it to still feel 'fun' and not simply work. It's amazing you can handle riding so many a day!

Shelby Dennis You should really appreciate the things you have. So many people would love to ride horses every day. You are getting paid to do something you love! You should really appreciate that! xx

Emory Heider I do appreciate it but people also need to be aware of how hard I work. Letting people know that it is still a job that is incredibly hard work doesn't mean I don't appreciate it. Working my ass off got me to where I am, not luck. I work 7 days a week often putting in 10+ hours a day. I work when I'm sick. I wake up early everyday and cannot go out with friends often as a result. That is the reality of the work so while I love what I do, I'm going to portray it realistically and let people know that the job isn't all fun and games everyday. I risk my life everyday because of the types of horses I get on. When people treat it like my job is a big game and the same as riding your own horses for enjoyment, it insults the amount of hours and hard work that I put in.

Emory Heider It'd be impossible for me not to appreciate what I have since I have gotten it all myself. Luck and parental finances haven't gotten me to where I am. I've done it all myself so how dare you imply that I don't appreciate what I have just because I make a point of saying how much and how hard I work and try to explain to people how hard it can be to work in this industry.

Shelby Dennis Excuse me but that was very rude. I did not imply that you don't appreciate you life at all. And how dare YOU threaten me. Yes, horseback riding is hard work. But caring and working with horses is much much easier than some other jobs. You may say "oh it's hard work" which it is, but it also much more fun and enjoyable than many other jobs. You didn't have to be so damn rude about it. I don't see have you have any subscribers. Your so rude and have a terrible attitude.

My horse completely put a bug tore in his fly sheet. For punishment he is in a stall. Now i gotta go and get a new fly sheet, i feel like my 8 year old horse will never mature...

Milan Murphy PUNISHMENT??? Do you think he even understands? Punishment doesn't work for animals just like it doesn't work for toddlers. They are simply too stupid to make the connection between the bad behaviour and the punishment. Being stalled takes too long and is too far separated from the naughty act. They won't make that connection. Your horse does not have a clue why he is in the stall. Just like an 18 month child. God forbid you ever have children with your parenting skills.
