Hi I just came across your videos, and I really feel for you. I just had my baby right around the same time you did! I’m having a lot of pain breastfeeding as well, but when I pump it doesn’t hurt. I was told by many people that you’re not supposed to pump more than 15-20 minutes at a time or you will cause nipple damage. So I have never went past 20. (Which is also why “power pumping” includes the breaks if you heard of it) But you have an amazing supply. So if anything I’d say making sure the nipple is centered in the flange, not rubbing, and not going past 20 minutes. I hope you get better❤😢

@@robinsom-oeur8396 hey! Wow that would make sense because I pump for at least 30 min every time and sometimes 1 hour. Probably why I am having all these issues 😭 I will definitely stop pumping for an hour lol

I second this. I was told to only do 15 mins, which is what I used to do as well. Sending you so much healing chick! ✨

Have you tried protecting your nippels with silver shield? Place the silver shields in the freezer (zip-loc bags) and put them on your nippels with a nursing bra. It will protect your nippels from rubbing against shirts, especially if you applied nipple cream/coconut oil and gives you relief by cooling. Put it back in the freezer after every use. I would do that in addition to what you're currently doing to heal right now.

Hi normally i dont comment but as mum four little girls and having the same issue, I have identified several key factors that have significantly improved my pumping experience. The use of pump spray to reduce friction, applying my own breast milk to my nipples before and after pumping, and utilizing silicone flanges have all contributed to enhanced comfort. Ensuring a proper fit with the flange is also vital to avoid complications. Some mothers have reported positive experiences with silverettes, which may be worth considering for additional relief.

@@claud1aYeats hey, I didn’t know there was pump spray? So you spray it on before pumping? And someone else mentioned the silicone flanges I will have to look into that too. Thank you so much ❤️❤️❤️

@leahlovee Yeah, it's amazing. i put my in the fridge for a more soothing effect some with my nipple balm, just spray each nipple or the inside of your flange and that's it , also silverettes are meant to be amazing just a little expensive for me Your doing an amazing job x

Have you tried a nipple cream or the clear aquifer rash cream? My son is 4 and I still have the big tub and I use it for everything! It could also be your flanges are too small. Have you also tried the haaka? I used that when my nipples were super sore in between pumps when my breast were full to give the nipples a break.

Try hand expressing until your nipples heal. My lactation consultant also recommended that I put my own milk around my nipple to help it heal. That worked like magic! I was also told that me pumping for 30 minutes was what was causing my nipples to get bad. I was told to only pump for 15-20 minutes. I still didn’t listen lol and it got BAD! But when I finally starting pumping for 15-20 minutes my nipples got better and I was still able to get what my baby needed.

@@nadiatourinho yeah it seems like my own milk helps my nipples heal more than the nipple cream lol and yeah I will probably start pumping for 20 minutes instead. Thank you❤️

You should try to soak the nipps in ice then putting actual raw shea butter on them and letting it sit for a while . Also use the shea butter as a lubricant around the pump . It may stink , but it could possibly heal them .Or you can try putting real aloe from the aloe Vera leaf on them
