This video is very inspirational! My little guy came earlier than expected and is currently in the NICU. It is such a stressful time but I am trying to build my supply for him. Consistency, remembering to eat, and positive thoughts have been the major challenges. Your video has given me a few takeaways and I feel empowered to keep going. A huge THANK YOU!!!

Thanks for sharing!! So when we power pump is it something we do everytime like forever until we stop pumping for our baby, or is it until we have a good milk supply?
@amandaelizabel9 ай бұрын
so happy to help!😊 that’s such a good question! i only power pumped to get my supply up and i didn’t need to keep it up to maintain it, just normal puming. power pumping mimics cluster feeding which your baby usually does during a growth spurt (sometimes for comfort) so it’s their way of telling your body you need more milk :)

I am an exclusive pumper, My baby is 5 weeks old. I have a regular supply and usually have what baby needs and am able to put away around 16oz per day. The hardest part for me is waking for night pumps, when baby is sleeping longer stretches at night (5-6 hours). I try to pump at least once over night but have been missing night pumps due to sleeping over my alarm. Anyone else struggling with this? What do you do?

How to increase breast milk?? My baby hungry all time... reason for low milk supply😢
@realtalk80595 ай бұрын
They might eat all the time bc your supply is slower since it’s low and it takes longer for them to get full. Drink a crazy amount of water and track your consumption and add in electrolyte drinks I did 2 28 oz body armpits and my supply tripled over night maybe even add in the liquid Iv into your water

if you do the pitcher method how do you write the date on the bag that was expressed if it’s been mixed with milk from the past 4 days of with ? I’m confused about it :( please answer

Hi!! 💗 I just write the earliest date on all the bags! Let’s say I have bottles from dates Nov 5-9, when I’m combining them to freeze them I write Nov 5 on all of the bags :) Just makes me feel better about using it sooner rather than later

So I'm breastfeeding for the first time with my second baby. And at first week I had a lot of milk and it was going well. But now, my breastmilk isnt as much I get before, in 2 hours I don't much I only make 2 or 1oz, and I'm getting stressed out because I wanna help my breasts milk come in more. What schedule should I do or what can I do to help my breastmilk come in more. Pls pls help. It's stressful and means a lot.

Also, at night it's hard for me to pump cause I get to tired since I'm a only parent. Should I still pump?
@amandaelizabelАй бұрын
I’m not a professional but this is what worked for me, definitely stick to pumping every 2/3 hours and be super consistent with it. It’ll be hard especially with two babies but it really helps so much. Also eating enough and resting where you can. Which seems impossible sometimes I know 😓 but if you can find easy meal preps (i have some posted on here and on shorts if you need inspo) it helps so much too! Resting can even come from 5 minutes of just deep breathing to help your body relieve stress. Remember this is temporary when it gets hard and you’re doing it for a reason but if it ever becomes too hard there’s no shame in stopping if that’s what’s going to help you overall. Sending you so much love and encouragement!! 💗💗💗

Moms, How long did it take for your milk supply to come in after birth? My baby was born on Monday the 16th I feel like I’m working so hard just to barely get two oz ALL together for both breast combined :( any advice? I definitely think I need to get my breast sized for the correct flanges One boob I feel produces more milk too..
