Thank you for helping that older gentleman out 👏🏽 Like you said, not too many people will go out of their way to help out.

Absolutely! If more people took the initiative the world would be a lot better of a place

Love the hospitality in helping the older gentleman, like you mentioned if you want someone to treat your relative like that why can’t it be the same in return? It’s sad. Hope you have a great rest of your week.

Exactly. I have no clue why people want to work in the medical field when they can’t ever look beyond themselves. Thank you for the well wishes, same to you! 🤞🏽☺️

Hi!!! I just finished my medical assistant course. And I am looking for a job right now. What advices you should give for a newcomer like me. I will love to hear the things that will help me to find a good job and makes me more better than others.

Hello! Thank you for reaching out. I would suggest that you apply to an internal medicine clinic unless you have a specialty that you had in mind. It’s very helpful for you to be exposed to general information and getting more hands on skills but that’s just my experience! I loved being able to do injections, TB tests, strep tests, etc! Make sure to put your extern site down on your resume if you did complete and extern site so that employers can see that you have some hands out. If you don’t that’s okay, try to recreate your resume so that it mimics a medical assistant resume. You can find plenty of examples online and apply to all of the jobs you can! This will help get your resume in front of someone that will be willing to hire a new grad! :)

Hi. You go over the Dr. schedule first thing to see for ex. who got theit labs done n who didn't. 1) What else do you look for when looking over the schedule that would prepare you for your day ahead ? 2) How can you tell if the patient coming in had labs done ( or suppose to get their labs done but didn't) ?

Hi! Thank you so much for the question! So on the main page of our program that we use, you see the schedule for the day and all of the patients and which doctor they are seeing. When examining how to prepare for the day you will check each persons different chart and it will show you the labs that were previously ordered on the doctors last office visit note. This will allow you to see what labs the patient needs in order to be see for the follow up, and it will also show you if they needed any imaging completed as well. You just have to make sure that all labs/imaging/referrals that were written at the previous visit have been completed. In order to see if these are completed you can click into their chart and see that. There’s a tab in our program called Athena that has “labs/imaging” you click into that portion and it will show the date of the last labs or imaging that was completed.🩵 Hopefully I answered your question ☺️🤞🏽
