OK missy...lol...the purpose of having a brace is WEARING IT...haha its supposed to limit the use of the injury for a UNINTERRUPTED period of time...u need to have it on for a couple weeks at least..its a pain in the butt yes but its important to allow the ligaments that hold everything in place to stick back together where they are supposed to be...unfortunately it may never be quite as good as it was but it shouldnt hurt any more after it has healed...there is nothing to hold all those little bones together exept those little ligaments and you may have bruised the connection between the bones from the initial impact...u should get it looked at again though...I sprained my wrist and i know it hurts...Ive sprained everything tho haha

Ask your doctor for an MRI!! My partner has had foot pain since last August because they did X-rays and didn’t find anything, but last week went in for an MRI and it turns out she has multiple hairline fractures and now has to wear a boot

I worry you could be doing or have already done permanent damage to your wrist. you said in another video that you feel like a pick me when you wear the brace but youre not a young teen in high school trying to look cool, youre a grown woman and youre also not going to heal as quickly and easily as when you were a kid. if your doctor said that you should wear that brace to help heal your wrist, you should have been doing that. It could already even be too late now, tendons and ligaments can be a lifelong issue if you don't treat them

Have you ever considered donating to charities instead of shopping? Like anytime you get the urge to spend money on yourself, could it maybe help to spend that money on the millions of people in need? Like you still get to spend money, but you're actually doing a lot of good in the world, instead of just creating more waste. I know that sounded very judgy, and honestly it is in a sense. But I also feel like it could be good advice. Or even if you don't donate to charities and still want to physically go shopping, you could buy a lot of the same stuff you already buy, but then give it to some of the unhoused people in your town. Because on top of all of the horrible things it does to the planet, and all the waste that it produces, it also doesn't seem to make you feel better to buy yourself so much stuff. Maybe there's a healthy balance between constantly treating yourself, and helping others.
