@@polopo9136 i absolutely agree that the death threats that have been sent to kt franklin are disgusting and no one should be given that kind of hate, i don’t agree with either of the girls’ actions but i do think there was a massive difference in the way they handled it, kt was sarcastically and insensitively replying to fans comments pretty much right up until she made her apology video, i think this is what has made it extremely hard to believe she is genuinely sorry for going as it seems fairly obvious she only made the apology because she realised people weren’t just going to brush over it, olivia seems to have realised the severity of the situation and didn’t spend time mocking people’s valid concerns in the comments - this being said i absolutely disagree with the death threats being sent, there’s a way of holding people accountable that isn’t cruel, but yeah i definitely can see why there’s different responses to the two videos

Definitely a heart-felt apology, I can see this has really upset you and I can see how sincere you are. However, I thought you would of addressed a few more things in your apology, it seems you’re tip-toeing around a few things because you have probably been given guidance on what to say/what not to say by your management. This is where I start to think of all these KZbin dramas and how staged these apologies get when you’re caught out. You did in no way shape or form deserve all the bullying and it’s a lot to take on as a 19 year old. You relate to a lot of people in this day and age, use your platform to your advantage. I personally feel like you’ve left a lot of stuff unanswered, but I can tell most people are just happy you’re ok and that we’ve all missed your content!

Honestly feel bad for her. She’s a young girl she’s going to make mistakes and I don’t think it’s fair to put pressure on her to be a “role model” to anyone. I’m not saying she shouldn’t be held accountable but she’s literally 19 and shouldn’t have to be a role model for anyone I think it’s unfair to put her under that pressure. Respect to her - There are countless influencers/celebrities with much more privilege than her (i.e. The Kardashians / Jenners) who continuously break COVID guidelines, post about it, and don't do anything to address it or say sorry. I can see Olivia is truly sorry for doing this, something a lot of people her age wouldn't be sorry for. I think this in and of itself shows that she is a good role model to her fans.
