Very relaxed and frankly quite disconnected from reality in comparison to what real professionals do, I work with a remote professional software developer and he's daily job is really busy fill with constant mattings, if he attempt to live the same live you are on we would be fired in a heartbeat, but it seems as well that you are working on your own projects as well watch might explain the differences.

Let's hope you weren't travelling on a tourist visa, and paid your taxes in Thailand as you are supposed to when you're living there. Since, you know, anything else would be criminal and might get you in hot water with the tax authorities in the country you are a citizen of as well as Thailand, and could lead to being denied any visa in the future (tourist or otherwise). I suppose in addition to having done this on a tourist visa you would also have to be unlucky enough that someone decided to look into the matter and manage to establish your identity, so probably you aren't taking a huge risk by putting bragging videos on the interwebs to show off. But what you will have to do is live with yourself. If you are playing it by the rules, paying your taxes, and genereally contributing to Thai society, by all means enjoy a life of luxury. If you aren't, consider if leeching off of people who don't have even a tiny fraction of what you do is who you want to be.

He is spending western money in Thailand, essentially helping the thais, instead of spending it on overpriced shit in the west.
