@@andiecann611 Well, it depends a lot on where you study in Spain, but I am doing my degree in Madrid (Universidad Complutense de Madrid) and there are great opportunities when doing the practical part of the degree (great well-known public hospitals to choose from), and in terms of knowledge, neuro is was we see the most, but we get to see everything. There is one downside and it is that we don't go to private clinics and we don't see sports rehabilitation that much, but as far as I'm concerned, there are other unis in Madrid that do provide that. But overall, where I study is awesome, and our degree is by far the best😌

Oh my goodness ☺️ so far I’ve only done a placement in MSK (my other two got cancelled for covid) but hopefully I’ll get one in cardio and neuro soon - I’m gonna try and look for work in hospitals so fingers crossed :)

@@andiecann611 hiii im back for the update.. apparently my results went a bit below the universities requirement for physiotherapy. quite disheartening tbh, but they asked me to consider on sport therapy. what are your thought on sports therapy hehe.:)

@@opsieboopeduu934 hi! I’m so sorry to hear that, it can definitely be a big weight and just think grades don’t define you and if you keep at it, you’ll achieve what you want to. Stay strong! I would say it’s not worth it to be honest. My opinion is that courses like that and sports science will not get you to a physiotherapy status, you find a lot of people do these three year courses and have to end up doing a physio course anyway. I know it’s brutal, but if you know physio is what you want to do then I’d recommend looking at clearing options or even if you can do a foundation course! I know some people at MMU went into foundation first because they didn’t quite get the grades they needed to. I want you to make a choice that’s best for you! I wouldn't say it takes up all of our time, you still have time for friends, sports or other activities you'd want to do. I think if you're able to plan out time and prioritise when you need to then there's no reason you wouldn't be able to do both! :)

You can yes! Lots did part time jobs but every uni had different schedules so it also depends on that in addition to making sure you’re organised with workload. It’s easy to leave it and end up having to do all nighters 😬

Hi! I'm not totally sure but I wouldn't think it would at all because you've cleared it and everything. Either way, you'd definitely still be able to apply for a job abroad! The main thing that I've read is that it doesn't affect your career (just might be harder to get a job if you still have it), and to clear it as soon as possible (which you've already done).

I mean journal articles are usually most reliable and you can cite them when doing assignments, but you also have student friendly sites (which are not good for assignments) like physiopedia and teachmeanatomy AND if you’re a visual person definitely get on a 3D anatomy app or website! They’re amazing! Your university might have some sources too!

Hi! Massively! There is a lot of scope for physios at the moment, of course in areas like Manchester or Liverpool, it can be a lot more competitive ☺️ but what’s good is that there is a variety of different areas which you can work (i.e.community, in the hospital, or a clinic)
