One thing I suggest is not letting the cats around baby blankets or clothing or anything that baby will lay on it because you’re not sure if the baby will have an allergic reaction to cat hair. It happen to us with our dogs 😔😔 hopefully it’s not but I suggest waiting especially with baby skin being so sensitive. You should do a virtual baby shower and we could send you baby shower gifts! Dr browns are the BEST!!!! Only bottle my kids would take

You don’t pay their bills nor does anything rude that people say have to have a place in their lives. As long as they are happy, love each other and their baby as well as take care of their baby then that’s that matters. People who have to talk down to or upon others just shows that you’re miserable in your own life and that’s just horrible that you have to take it out on others. You may say no that you’re super happy in your own life and it’s amazing but something is causing those negative comments and thoughts about others. I’m sure that something in your life is either triggering you with this couple, something going on in your own relationships whether it be spouse or any other relationship and you feel the need to be rude to these guys. Please tell yourself 5 positive things about yourself each morning and remind yourself throughout the day those 5 things that you started your day off with, I promise you that eventually you will be a more positive and genuinely happy person that your missing out on. Your mindset will change and start you complimenting others and lifting others up rather then tearing people down.

Just had a baby boy in December ! 😀 My advice: -just get the general essentials and a few things you’d want to try. Dont stock up too much on one thing because you really don’t know what will work best for that baby and you/Larry. You’ll most likely be buying things as you go and it’s a sucky feeling having items you didn’t even end up using or too much of something that didn’t work out ! - Be prepared to be gifted things in sizes that are kind of all over the place. So try not to assume you’ll be getting either all smaller sizes or all bigger sizes and then buy a bunch of what you think you won’t be getting much of . You might end up with a ton of bigger sizes and no smaller sizes or vice-versa! -There will be people who preach certain items are an absolute necessity because it worked so well for them, but try not to get too caught up in all of that because what works well for one family might not be the case for another. -You don’t actually need laundry detergent or dish soap targeted “for babies”. You can use normal free&clear kinds if you wanted to go for a more sensitive option -Try to enjoy as much rest/alone time/alone time with Larry as you possibly can now, because all of that really is going to change once baby comes! -The first few weeks being with your baby is most likely going to feel like a major shock and you might feel like you’re being pushed to your limits. Take it day by day, minute by minute. Give yourself grace and do what you need to do to get through it the best you can. Try to remember that IT DOES GET BETTER - Prepare for postpartum the best you can. Getting some postpartum healing/comfort items for yourself, meals/food plan in place, etc . Finally, there’s going to be days that are VERY hard . But try to cherish every moment you can because time really does go by in the blink of an eye even if it Sometimes feels like it’s moving in slow motion while you’re living through it

I’m on my second baby and I recommend getting about 10 newborn sleepers that are zip up or magnetic. Buttons are too much to undo at night when your extremely sleep deprived but of course it’s always your choice! I would also but maybe 6-7 newborn outfits. Every baby is different but babies grow out of newborn clothing so fast! 0-3 month I would say they last in maybe around 1-2 months. So it’s definitely preference! I would say stick to comfort clothing for newborn/0-3 months and get actual outfits in 3-6 months and so on. Just so friendly advice :) So excited for you and Larry! I’m having a boy as well and he’s due august 5th 💙

YES!!! I second this. I felt so bad. So many people bought me the cutest newborn clothes but I never put my son in them because we didn’t go anywhere. He is 3 months and has mostly been in sleepers 🤷🏼‍♀️

I actually prefer buttons even with my twins I liked that I didn’t have to expose all of them chest I just undid the leg buttons and their chest was still covered… also when I swaddled I didn’t have to undo it to chan diaper since I just needed legs out

That’s so nice for the birth certificate holder. I have never seen one of those. I like to look Through different thrift stores I never know what you’re going to find.a thrift shop . I’m so happy for you both . It’s better to get the clothes a little bigger then you think . If you wash them before using and put them in the dryer , they shrink.

Definitely get some newborn size clothes. You will probably use them for a short time and 0-3 can be big on them at first. Babies always lose a bit of weight until your milk comes in too unless you are formula feeding. I had to buy a few newborn outfits last minute and wasn’t expecting it! Newborn diapers too, at least a couple packs. Love your haul! So excited for you!!

The Hatch sound machine has been a must! There’s different colored lights and sounds and you can program it when they get older as well. And also the Owlet. I worked in the NICU for almost 10 years and the owlet was worth EVERY penny. To be able to pull up the app at night and see baby’s heart rate and oxygen level is so reassuring. It really is the top thing I recommend to any parent! It’s so worth it! Also, the swaddle blankets and hats and burp clothes made my Copper Pearl are the best. The blankets are AMAZING. They are so soft and stretchy. I still use the blankets and my son is 16 months old. They wash up so well.

Best thing I found with a newborn for night time is a gown. It opens at the bottom. You can tie it or leave it open. I got 7 of those ( they are the best! It helps a lot when they are new born so they don't rub like some zipper outfits can do. Also, don't go crazy buying newborn clothes, or other months. They can be little or grow super fast. My son was in 0-3 months then all of a sudden he went 3-6 months for about a month then was in 9-12. Totally skipped 6-9 size. How ever once we got into 12-24 he stayed that size. He is almost 5 years old now and 4t is just now starting to fit him. So be cautious with getting clothes and diapers. Don't go for the huge packs. Start with small packs to make sure they don't have a sensitivity. I bough pampers and my son couldn't wear them, only huggies and Kirkland brands. Just some adv I wish i knew before having a kid. You got this!

I saw a video where someone placed a Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Slytherin, and Hufflepuff onesies on the floor with little wands. Side by side with some space in between. Then they had their baby crawl too one of the onesies. Whichever onesie that baby crawled to, that was their Hogwarts house. It was so cute!

So I am not a mom yet, but I have multiple siblings and helped out a lot. So I recommend “bumbo seats” they look to be at target. But they come in handy for traveling, and when the baby isn’t fully sitting up right yet. It gives them a secure seat, as well as you can put a baby in there and feed snacks etc

I have 2 boys and one thing that I felt was really helpful and easy during the night is nightgowns. They have these “little” boy nightgowns and they were a life savor to quickly have access to changing their diapers on those very long nights and quickly pull down the nightgown once you are done changing. I absolutely loved them!! You need to check them out! 💙

To ALL of you that are reading this please take time each morning when you first wake up to tell yourself 5 positive things about yourself and remind yourself throughout the day. When you start having negative thoughts then once again remind yourself that your an amazing human as well as beautiful. With having more positive relationships whether it be with your spouse, parents, siblings and just friends you will do a lot better so send those people that you love and care about positive message and or compliment them. The more you do this the more you will see your loved ones come around and spread positivity.

My favorite tip that worked wonderfully for me was every time u go to the store pick up a pack of diapers or wipes ( especially the wipes you’ll use them for everything) but have a nice stock pile was such a relief and don’t worry about baby outgrowing diapers as long as it’s not open you can return them to the store. I put a little piece of tape corner of my diapers with what store I got them from.

I just have to say I am still so so happy that you and Larry get to have a biological baby! In the end the IUI failing is the best thing to really ever happen even though it was heartbreaking at first! Now Larry will be biological daddy too and it’s sooooo amazing that it worked out this way!! So awesome.

My sister got for her babies a CD of ocean wave sounds that she played at night. They slept so well, it's so relaxing. Never had trouble falling asleep. She did this until they were school age!

What I found helpful with our first… -sleep sacks that allow you to wrap their arms so the startle reflex doesn’t wake them. There are some that zip at the bottom so you can keep baby snuggled but still change their diaper. -don’t buy too much of one bottle/pacifier type. We ended up trying 4 brands before we found one our daughter took to. (MAM brand was a hit). -I’d say stick to minimal clothing purchases of newborn size until you meet your sweet little bundle. Every baby is different and some never fit into the newborn clothing! -different brands vary wildly in sizing. Some brands like Burts Bees run skinny and tall. Others like Hanes runs short and wide. I found Gerber to be a great fit for our little one. The proportions were just right. -blackout curtains for the nursery! -a sound machine is a wonderful thing for background white noise. -cerave makes an unscented baby shampoo/body wash that’s very gentle and doesn’t irritate my daughters sensitive skin. -Phillips makes a two tiered bottle sterilizer that is fantastic for sterilizing bottles and pacifiers (also great for breast pump parts). -a mosquito net for the car seat/stroller comes in clutch for keeping your little one bug-bite free.

I suggest layering the mattress protector for the middle of the night accidents. So it would be mattress, mattress protector and then fitted sheet & repeat another layer so in the middle of the night you just strip the one layer and dont have to make the bed in the middle of the night!!

Hii! You mention on your newest video that breastmilk last up to 2 weeks. It last 6 months in the freezer. Do not over filled them up. And if you thawed one bag there good until 24 hours. They can stay in the back of the refrigerator until 3 max 4 days

There’s also a cleaner machine for bottles instead of having to hand wash them or if you run out of room in your dishwasher. Cannot remember the name of it off the top of my head. I’ve also never personally had the owlet for my siblings, but I’ve heard good things about it! ❤️😊

Definitely a pack n play. It helped me so much. They can nap there if you want to have them near, play in there if you have to wash dishes, tidy up etc. You can take it everywhere. Yup. I cant wait to see more baby hauls. 💙

Not sure if this was said but breast milk in the fridge is good for about 4 days and freezer 6 months to a year. So the bags are good for longer if you are freezing it 🥰

I would recommend getting this changing pad ( Keekaroo Peanut Changer - Vanilla ) is super soft and very easy to wipe if your baby has an accident. I use for my son and it’s a life changer than having to wash covers if they pee on it

I have been told the target brand diapers are comparable to pampers, the Haaka is a must for breast feeding, and to make sure you find the hardest mattress for the crib for safe sleep. Here's my baby must haves and advices! This is just what I've gathered from being a nanny for years and then having my own baby. 🍼 1. Get a 3 tier rolling cart! They have them at target for around $30, it is so helpful. It is in my living room now but I used to push it all around the house when she was small. It has held so much stuff I've needed and has seriously been a help! 2. I love the zipper sleepers for when they're in smaller sizes, but I do like the fit of button up better when they get bigger personally! 3. Speaking of sizes, I would recommend not buying so much in the smaller section when it comes to that, it's true that people will gift you a lot of smaller sizes and they really don't stay in it for that long. For the most part! Of course every baby is different. There are several outfits that were newborn and 0 to 3 month that my daughter never got to wear lol! 4. Sleep sacks! I used the Merlin suit when my daughter was old enough to use it but I wish I hadn't because transitioning out of it was difficult. If I could, for a next baby what I think I will do is just use sleep sacks from the beginning. 5. Do have some formula on hand just in case, I don't breastfeed but I did for the first 4 days, and I'm gonna be honest, no one told me how hard it could be. It can really affect your mental health so do be prepared for that aspect of it if it does occur. Your OB will be a great source of info on it! Fed is best! Either way you will do amazing. ❤️ 6. Also sort of in the same vein, I bought a bunch of stuff preparing for a vaginal delivery and ended up needing a cesarean so when it comes to that don't buy too much because the hospital will provide you with pretty much everything that you need! :) 7. When the time for teething comes, get the Sophie giraffe! It is so worth it!! 8. Other helpful things, a bottle warmer, Walmart brand baby spoons (I just like them the best lol!), A mirror for tummy time, a good bouncer, the Fisher Price kick and play piano mat, a Bumbo multi seat, and plenty of drool bibs! So excited for you guys to have your little man !!

Oh i did the same thing, I prepped for a vaginal delivery but needed a csection too. And the hospital gives you everything you need, at least for the first couple of days and then you can have some extra things in a target shopping cart that you can order after giving birth that someone can pick up for ya!!

Sleep sack for baby also. No need to worry about putting his little legs back in the hole if they slip out in the middle of the night. Those for me was a game changer. Breast pads since you are going to try nursing and creams if need be.

I love the Lion artwork- as a Leo, lions are one of my favorite animals. I love the variety of baby clothes. I'm laughing every time you laugh while saying "little." The colors of the Gryffindor outfit matches the Leo colors.

I have a 2 week old baby & one thing I couldn't recommend enough is buying clothes with built in scratch mittens, trust me they're a life saver 😂 also my baby is 7 pound 1 oz right now and still in newborn stuff, getting close to being in 0-3 but definitely need some newborn clothes espeically because they change clothes multiple times a day too

3-6 , 6-9 usually is the longest, then 12 months , they grow out of newborn quickly! Congrats ! The outfits are so cute! This will be different for each baby, depends on how quickly he will grow, and how long he is, you will get a system down hun! I used a lot of onesies when my kids were babies ,just easier with the frequent diaper changes , and especially with the heat , cooler outfits are nice , just some advice hun, but you and Larry will figure out what is best for your baby! For the eye color brown is dominant, but if you have hazle , and Larry has blue, the baby may have hazle or green !

Target has the best registry, they give you a 15% discount for in store and online, so basically 2 *shops* of a nice discount. When I went in store to do my registry completion, a store employee also told me it's 15% off anything on my registry, so i went around and added a bunch of cleaning supplies, etc. And got 15% plus 5% off for my red card. Score! Their return policy forbitems purchased through the registry is also a year which is huge. I bought my Elvie breast pumps through them (20% off through the discount), and when it didn't end up working for me, i was abke to return 3 months later for a full refund.

Some advice from a first time mom! My baby girl was a week late (7lbs 14oz) however she only fit in preemie for like 2 weeks. I suggest get maybe like 3 preemie footie jammies and maybe like 4-5 outfits 0-3month. My girl wore 0-3 until she was almost 6 months. I say be prepared for every size. You never know what they're going to fit when they are first born.

I personally like lansinoh storage bags best - and they can be stored in freezer up to a year actually according to the CDC as long as freezer temp is 0 or below. The cloud island sleep n plays are my favorite also! And in Florida you’ll probably be in just onesies alot bc it’s so warm! Definitely get a couple newborn just in case but some babies are born too big to ever fit and just go right to 0-3

My baby never fit in newborn. Go on Amazon and look up velcrow socks!! Also we bought one bottle of each kind to determine what he likes best, that way we didn't end up with a ton of bottles he didn't like.

My biggest advice as I’m currently expecting baby number 3 July 9th is when it comes to your hospital bag for baby boy take however many outfits u plan to bring and double it my first two went thru about 8 outfits while we were in the hospital

When I had my daughter everyone advised me against getting a bunch of newborn clothes and diapers. Well she ended up being born 3 weeks early and was TINY and in newborn for what seemed like forever lol. All this goes to say is advice is awesome but every baby is different 💕

Right my daughter was born full term but still small she was 5 pounds 15oz she was in newborn clothes for 6 months!

Just as a suggestion, when I had my daughter, I used dreft baby detergent, which is a mild detergent for baby clothes since you don't know what detergents can be overly sensitive to baby skin. You might want to pick up a box. 😊 it comes in a white and pink box or they might now have the bottle since it's been 22 years ago 😊 ❤ so so excited for you both! 💓 💙

I used it 30 years ago and it's what my daughter used for cloth diapering her daughter. We had a big supply of diapers in different sizes and brands that she couldn't wear because she was allergic. It Does come in a jug now like other laundry soaps
