I know, I’m such a nervous figdeter! I honestly notice it in 90% of my sit-down videos *sigh*. I know that I need to remember to put my hair up before I film! I’m ALWAYS messing with it when it’s down. I know this. We can stop commenting about it now. ❤️ Love you guys!

Seeing your baby playing and give you kisses has been reassuring. It’s been years since I had a small baby. I’m not the biggest fan of the newborn phase, seeing your sweet girl helped me remember the good times and get a little excited for my unexpected pregnancy

This video is SO thorough! I’m pregnant with #2 and as I’m going through all the stuff from my older son’s baby days it’s so hard to remember what we used, didn’t use, need to replace or buy, etc. This is a great video for cross referencing as we plan for what our new little guy will need!

Hi :) I never comment on videos but I really felt the need to thank you for this video. I have watched so so many videos like this and yours was the first that I actually found things I needed to add to my registry, and I feel very particular about what is on there. I can’t wait to watch your other videos because this one was so helpful. Thank you!

On summer, I think V-Fyee mosquito net cover for stroller also is an baby essentials. It can keep bugs flyings out of your baby when you can take your baby outdoor walking. recommended!

Thank you. This was helpful when I saw it when pregant. And I add a lot to my register. But about the monitor, I used the sense-u monitor. It tracks my child's breathing movement, sleep position, feeling temperature accurately and allows me to intervene when something happens to the child, e.g slow breathing movement, stomach sleeping, overheat, etc.

Hi Erin! Just watched this and found it very useful, thank you! And this is my first time watching your channel. Now I'm wondering if you will be posting the registry regrets video that you mentioned here towards the end! I don't see it in your upload history yet, and it's definitely one I would be interested in watching once you post it. So please let me know if you're still planning to do that! Thank you!

Try using it in a pumping bra! The slit holds it more firmly. Also, fold the flange back before attaching to boob. It's a firmer hold.

Thank you for taking the time and making the effort to put this together to share with other parents/moms. A bit of constructive criticism, in the first 5 minutes I was distracted from the content by how many times your arms/hands crossed your face to tuck your hair behind your ears or pull it out of your face.

Would love the sidecar crib tutorial! I’ll check your channel to see if it’s there…
@HeyErinPayne2 жыл бұрын
Unfortunately the sidecar crib tutorial never happened. Basically it’s just a normal crib built without one of the long sides. We positioned the missing side up against our bed and put a foam mattress topper underneath the crib mattress to make it level with our bed mattress. We zip tied the crib to our bed frame so that it couldn’t come apart. When we decide to have baby #2 I’ll definitely film the sidecar crib setup!

Def try cloth diapering ! We tried it and fell in love. We’re about to have baby number two and don’t have to purchase any diapers. Matter of fact we purchased diapers twice total and never bought them again. They are a life saver. I think I’ve invested maybe $100 or $150 total ! Which now with baby number two coming we’re going to not have to invest anything.

How hard is it compared to disposable? Stains? How to deal with Blow out /poop??? Thanks if you get back with me!
@cosmicclothpads76623 жыл бұрын
@@amandad2062 actually the only time we had blowouts is when we used disposables. Poop is handled with a diaper sprayer. So all solids go into the toilet and because we spray the diapers they don’t stain. We wash our diapers every two days and we have no problems with stains/smells or anything like that. Not going to lie if someone threw a disposable at me and told me to put it on my son I wouldn’t know what to do because all I know is cloth. It’s so easy.

If you’re asking about the small basket we keep in between us on the bed at night I can’t for the life of me find where that one came from! Either it’s not on Amazon anymore or we got it as a gift with goodies inside. I’ll try and find a comparable one on Amazon today.

Any recommendations on light during late night feedings and changes? Or did you just use your hatch
@HeyErinPayne3 жыл бұрын
So I had our hatch sound machine on my bedside table that was tucked behind our sidecar crib. Because of it’s location the crib was always blocking the light a bit for diaper changes. What I would do (and I know this is weird) is hold my phone in my mouth by the pop socket that I have on the back of it. I’d just unlock my phone and have it on a medium amount of brightness. It let me see what I was doing and would help me make sure I got up any and all poo if present. It also wasn’t too bright , so it wouldn’t wake up the whole room (or her).
