The black bean brownies are actually delicious!! You can’t even taste or feel the beans at all it’s a miracle recipe! I just throw it all in the blender and pour it into a pan and swirl PB on top.

Trick with parchment paper is to cut slits in the corners and sides and use butter to stick it down to the baking tray sides. Fun vlog. Love your scap books😊

I have a garden and grow potatoes, we literally throw it in the planter box and let them grow!

Tips for gardening: Your raised garden beds will benefit from adding more soil and regularly fertilizing or adding compost to feed the plants. If you don’t already, deep watering in your heat is a must (meaning the water reaches the roots near the bottom). Also, for mint and basil, they both benefit from being topped. So when you pick leaves, take off the top most portion of the stem and the plant will grow out more and not get so leggy. Happy gardening!

PS your wedding videos got me through all my wedding planning this year so thank you for those! I specifically clung to your story about planning a florida wedding and being anxious about the weather. I also got married last week in florida and the weather said that it was an 80% chance of rain in the morning. But I had been remembering your story about your wedding and I prayed about it all week and it ended up not raining a single drop all day. Helllo sweet Allison, I have never grown sweet potatoes, but I have seen where you needs to grow from the slips, you can plant shallow and get the eyes to make the plants "slips" then you plant the slips.

Hey Allison! I know that you’re trying to help the monarch butterflies and I wanted to share this information with you…apparently tropical milkweed is not the best for monarchs…for your area it would be the giant milkweed or swamp milkweed. The tropical milkweed will often carry OE spores that can affect the monarch so much so that they will be born deformed at times 😣 I made the mistake of buying tropical milkweed, so I thought I’d let you know :)
