Bully sticks are great! My Henry loves them, and he's 5 years old now. A sales associate at a pet store told me that it's a good idea to get different types because it poses a challenge to them, so I get the straight ones and also the ones that look like curly fries. I do toss them when they get down to about 2" for safety because I have heard of dogs choking on them or it getting stuck inside their mouth. Amazon has some good ones. I've had luck with the Red Barn brand for the curly ones.

I’m currently dealing with the same mental mindset. Going from being super satisfied with all my blessings to then feeling unfulfilled and wishing I had more. Being too comfortable isn’t always a good thing because then we can slow progression and not go after our dreams. Desiring too much can potentially make us ungrateful and selfish. There’s a healthy balance and some days it’s hard to find. It’s a work in progress lol

Ultimately, we need to be feeling blessed even when it isn’t comfortable. My dog goes crazy for bully sticks, also look into Himalayan chews. It’s just basically a hard cheese like thing that is a long lasting chew and you can microwave it when they get to the last bit and it turns into a crunchy puff. It’s a safe option for sure.

Hi Allison! A lovely video- as always! :) I just wanted to give you the advice to always keep a close eye on Palmer when he has the Bully Sticks or any other hard chew treat like that to avoid choking or sharp ends poking and causing harm. One of the first few days with our first dog he got a hard bone-type chew treat like that caught in his throat and it was terrifying! Luckily my Mom got it out and all was well and it never happened again, but I wanted to send the precaution to you to avoid any situations like that for little Palmer! Anyways, stay well and keep smiling and give the little pup a belly rub from me! ;)
