I have just finished setting up my virtual machine. I am running kali on vmware. The Blue team lvl 1 includes splunk so I saw it on another video. I was wondering if it's still worth taking a separate splunk cert, or does the BTL1 provide enough to not take the splunk cert separately?

I am starting my Google Cybersecurity Certification but am stuck between deciding whether I shall go for a Cyber Security Analyst or a Cyber Security Engineer. I am a student at Deakin University. LinkedIn suggests me that both roles have almost equal number of job opportunities in Australia and I find both interesting. So, given these two points, what job role do you feel has more openings than the other? I am a passionate individual and 'easy' is not an option for me, but I wish to put in focused effort on the right path. I have no experience yet, and I am a beginner. Thanks in advance. Unix guy plz help is it too late to get into cybersecurity? My dream has always been to get into career path, but due to investment in my skills as a designer I progressed into ux/ii product design. I’m good at it, but I don’t really believe in it.
