@@hola542 I meant “almost a friend” as in I am not sure if I’d consider him a friend yet, because he can be shallow and transactional at times. Friends to me are not transactional. He is aware of how I feel like he can be superficial/ make me feel used sometimes. We have talked about it on multiple occasions, and it is always an open conversation. I would not go to the internet first to gossip about it!! I was hoping for the segment to be realistic- to acknowledge both his good traits and his faults, and my honest feelings about them. But I completely see how it might not have come off that way! I appreciate you bringing it up, and I’ve cut it down now just to avoid misunderstandings. But as a bottom line, I don’t believe that people in more accomplished places should be held less accountable for their character. I would argue that the responsibility of having a bigger voice is to be more virtuous and humble, especially when others look to you for inspiration.
