I have 3 adult sons, 2 daughter in laws, and 5 grandchildren, and ev-re-bo-dy gets an Easter basket of their favorite snacks. It makes me so happy that, even though they are adults, they still look forward to hunting for their Easter baskets to see what’s inside. It blesses my heart, and is so worth it to bust the budget to see their excitement and happiness.

TIP: If you set your oven to 200° you can leave food in the oven and it will keep it warm without cooking it any further:) That way you can make all the French toast and keep it warm for those who are still sleeping!

I love the way you all are together, I have 4 of my own but my husband cheated and left, it was a massive trauma for us. I come from a broken family (I don’t see my mum and my sister because my mum always favoured my sister and prefers her grand children to mine, it was hurting my family so we don’t see them, my mum also didn’t see her family, I believe her mental health has ruined everything for us.) I still have my dad and step mum and their daughter and for that I’m so grateful. I do everything I can to make sure my kids are happy and thriving but it’s so hard on my own. You give me hope and positivity, thank you for that.

It looks like you had a great Easter weekend, I really enjoyed the videos! No matter their age I will always get my kids (19, 16) Easter eggs too (we seem to do more chocolate eggs than baskets here in the UK, although I did do them a gift bag each this year too). My 16 year old asked me at Christmas just gone would we still be doing the Christmas Eve box now they were older & he was so happy when I said yes! I love how things like this make special memories for them 🥰

Your mum would be very happy that you got the house and garden sorted out ready for sale like she would have done. Is there a way you can take something from the garden and plant it in your own if you haven’t already? My mum and her siblings managed to get some seeds from my Grandads garden and so now have some of his plants growing in theirs. That feels quite special. I hope it all goes as well as it can do under the circumstances, take care xx

Sorry but its one thing that's not recommended to do is putting a frozen chicken to cook in a crock pot (slow cooker). **It is not recommended to cook frozen cuts of meat in a slow cooker as it takes a long time for the meat to reach cooking temperature. This increases the chance of food-borne illnesses.** (from USDA). I think it's lovely how you still got everyone an Easter basket.

You must try French Toast Casserole. Exactly the same... Except So Much Easier! Just stack the bread & cube. Put it in a casserole dish & pour the egg mixture over it and bake. How long depends on how much you're baking. At least 30 mins at 350° Also use vanilla, maple, And almond flavorings together. You Can add sugar but not necessary. Spray or Oil The Pan! ALSO... this is a GREAT way to use left over hamburger/hotdog buns or bread thats not quite sandwich fresh anymore but not old.

I had cancer in 2010. It was abdominal, they couldn't tell if it was from my ovary or my appendix, but they did know that my appendix was adhered to my right ovary by this weird webbing and I had cancer cells in my abdominal cavity. After pathology they determined it came from my appendix. I had chemo and then I had a tumor debulking surgery and they took heated chemotherapy and swished it around my abdominal cavity. It was called HIPEC surgery. I know you have an incredible team of doctors and you have amazing parents that will advocate for you each step of the way. Both those things are such blessings. I'm so sorry you have to go through this. You're so smart to preserve your fertility. I didn't, I simply didnt have the money to, and it's something I regret so much.

My 7 year old doesn't like the tooth fairy, easter bunny or elf on the shelf being in his room when he is sleeping. Ever since he was little is anxiety is bad. I wanted to share my secret to the best French toast! 1 loaf of French bread (Walmart has them for like $1.75) 3 egg yolks 1 and 1/2 cups of heavy whipping cream 1/8 cup white sugar 1/8 cup brown sugar 1/4 teaspoon of kosher salt 1-2 teaspoons of cinnamon I hope you try it enjoy 😁

Good Easter. I stopped doing Easter baskets at age 12. I do put an Easter basket on my infant daughter’s grave & flowers for the other graves. My deceased husband said she made baskets for her grown kids. Personally it’s to much trouble even for the younger grandkids. We have ham, potatoes salad, deviled eggs & some kind of vegetable on Easter. That’s our tradition. I’m from the south . My family wouldn’t eat n of the ingredients u use, but all people have their own taste. Beautiful family. Where’s Alex, Savannah??
