very good video, but strangely i have yet to find a "day in the life of a" lab researcher video that signif includes keeping & keeping up with their lab notebook. Guess you all think that part would be boring for your non-scientist friends & family, maybe, but it would be helpful for lab researchers, esp new students, so hope you'll make another vid that much includes it. // Please include showing & explaining (with brief examples) how-when-where-etc you usually take bits of time out to write notes for & in your lab notebook. And what type stuff to write in the notebook before, during(?), & after you do an experiment. And please guesstimate about how much of your total lab research work time you (maybe ask a few of your lab mates too) spend on your lab notebook (also referencing locations of data recorded elsewhere, & related lab notes elsewhere / not in notebook). // Thanks!

Hi, i'm really enjoying your videos, very insightful. I thought it would be interesting if you could maybe show us your work in depth and maybe revolve a vlog around your practical work and discuss the struggles you face in the lab, things/techniques that fascinate you etc. Again, your videos are AMAZING and i'm finding myself trooping through them in a binge watch. Thank you
@atousa57527 жыл бұрын
Hello! aw I'm glad you enjoy them! my recent vlog talks a bit more about the struggles of research, but sadly because I have just finished my course, I can't make videos about the techniques anymore ): BUT I will make some future videos talking in depth about my specific projects to give you a better idea of what sort of things we do :) also, that is awesome to hear, you are more than welcome :)

Hi Atousa! I have currently applied for a Biomed course here in Belgium. I originally wanted to enrol on a Medical course but I leave that for later. I wanted to know as you mentioned in a Q&A video, you can still apply for med school will on the biomed course but you manage somehow to be accepted do you have to start again on year 1 ? So is your biomed studies "going to waste" ???
@atousa57527 жыл бұрын
Hi lovely! That is a very good question, and unfortunately I'm not sure about the answer! sorry ): but the only thing I can say is that while it technically seems like it's "going to waste" if you have learnt a lot of things in that first year, that should still help you with your medicine course! - but as I said I don't know, so it might be worth ringing the actual university that you have applied to, to get specific information! Take care lovely! :)
@AminaCse7 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much for your answer and advice ! Think I'll do that and ask my uni directly ! Thank you so much take care :D

Sundae Mornin Hi, I too got intrested in biomed yet I had my passion course of being a student midwife. It is possible to enrol in biomed after midwifery but yet again, I'm thinking maybe I should stay in midwifery. I too I'm from Belgium.
