Do you know how is it possible to transfer into USC CS as a sophomore??? It’s been always my dream to get into USC viterbi but couldn’t get into there as a freshman I know exactly what are the academic requirements but what else do they look for to accept a transfer student??? For example how important is our essays or extracurricular activities?? What kind of extracurricular activities are they looking for and how important are these?? I would be glad if you reply me

Hey, I have a few friends that are transfer students and honestly I think the most important things are a high freshman GPA and leadership positions, the positions and involvement can help your essays. Friends of mine had roles in entrepreneurial and CS based clubs, hope it helps

No you don't have to, I know many people who's first line of code was at USC and are doing just fine!

@@soumya4066 USC CS does not take coding classes as credit, so even if you take coding classes in CC you will have to retake the classes at USC (or test out of them), so I would recommend on focusing on clearing Math/Physics/GeneralED requirements
