Dr Cellini, as a retired BSN, I really enjoy your posts. Wish all doctors were more like you. I wish you the very best in all your future endeavors. You will make a super dad if that is in your plans and a wonderful teacher.

Should have thrown comment about the frustration of PACs going down, error prone voice recognition system, ordering physicians providing no or no relevant history, trying to use the EMRs, calling ED docs to get history and find they haven't seen the patient yet (all ordered by triage nurse), etc. I do still love my job...good living and getting to work with all different specialties.

@@DrCellini Most PACs systems allow you to turn off (temporarily) all the personal information (name, BD, MRN) annotating/overlying your image periphery. You probably know this but it allows anonymity for the patient and allows you to show us interesting cases. At least diagnostic if not IR.

@@DrCellini Unfortunately, in my opinion, there is no such thing as "privacy" any more in any aspect of life! The hackers somehow always seem to be able to break into any system. Even Health Insurance Companies like Blue Cross (our insurance) have been hacked in the past. One of my husband's doctor's EMR companies (MIE) was hacked in 2015. Also, don't know if you are aware of a ProPublica article from Sep 2019 where millions of CTs, MRIs, X-Rays, etc in the U.S and in Europe have been exposed online as a result of lax server security vulnerabilities.
