Day In The Life Of A Driving Instructor - How To Show Success

A full day and life of me as a driving instructor from when I drop the children off to being late for my first lesson. Its one of those days when everyone is cancelling on you turning your diary into a right mess. On top of that its getting dark earlier which most students will never have had to deal with. The focus of today's video is really how to show the student success. how do we as driving instructors help the student identify what they actually achieved in the lesson and what are they improving on. I mainly use scaling to do this as its really simple tool that doesn't need much explaining and can be used for just about anything.

Hi bud I am a driving instructor as well just keep Noticing You keep asking your students what did we do last week what did we do 2 weeks ago I'm not here to judge just to be helpful do you not keep a paper or digital record track record off progression. You can say score 1 to 5 so 1 not good 5 excellent the a Briefing Of what you did on the day Then write what are you gonna do or cover next week. 😉 You might have something in place I don't know but it just helps.

Hello mate could you please help me out with this. So basically ive got my full motorcycle licence (A1) so do i still need to make an provisional licence to be able to take the theory test for the car licence (B) or Does a full motorcycle Licence act as a provisional car Licence?

Hey Ali, in short your bike license will act as a provisional license. You will also be able to tell because it wont let you book the theory driving test without a valid license. Haha thanks Carl it's a good idea. I had to cancel 2 days because of that stupid petrol rubbish that the plonkers on the news love to spread. The boys like to scooter to school the lazy sods😂🛵
