Love this video. Since I started watching your videos, I have made a weekly list of things I want to get done. It is just small things each day toward keeping my house clean. I clean one kitchen cabinet or one closet or dust one room. Not too much but enough to keep me moving. Little things everyday and little changes in the way I eat. Arika could you put a drawer system in the old pantry? I took all the candles/wax melt stuff out of the kitchen, and the junk drawer stuff put in drawers in the laundry room. Always enjoy how motivating your vlogs are. Jaxson is growing so fast. High school is a big step in young peoples lives. We were able to send our boys to a private faith based high school. It was the right choice for us and them. I know all the Dorsetts are counting the days till little Paisley comes home! God bless each and everyone of you. Hi, Love watching all of your videos. One suggestion for under your sink - you could add 3m hooks to the inside of your doors to attach your duster and the lint roller. This way it is out of the way but you have easy access to them. You could also add some dollar tree baskets to the doors using 3m hooks to put in sponges etc. keep up the great videos

I’ve been watching your channel for years. The first video I saw of yours was when I googled countertop diy’s, and your $37 peel and stick tile popped up. It’s been fun watching you transform your home. No matter what you do to it, it always looks cozy and tranquil. I believe God’s presence in your home shines through. I think your hutch makeover with the brick is beautiful! I also think the dining room wall being different, adds character and a vintage look. Hi Arika! Everything came out so nice and neat! I am sure it will take a bit to get used to where to get things lol. I just wanted to say I bought a plastic tote in Walmart with lid and put my candles wax melts and plugs all together in my pantry and that works out so well and freed up a lot of kitchen space. I also moved my microwave into the pantry and boy what a difference! Also a hint I went to Ollie’s and bought a roll of vinyl flooring and put under all my vanities and kitchen sink it really helps protect the cabinets and so easy to wipe out! Have a great week!

Love what you've done and the dark basket was the perfect touch in your kitchen. My kitchen cabinets are white and the walls are sunflower yellow. I love redoing drawers so much.....so I enjoyed this. The change seems much better. I, too, use my pantry for overflow or backup product. I remember when my sons were entering high school.❤️🙏. P.S. I put that heavy duty plastic like to line wire shelves with under all my sinks.😉

Thanks for the motivation! I have 2 kitchen drawers that desperately need to be decluttered and organized. Those white baskets under your kitchen sink look like they might be stackable. If they are, and you don’t reach for your wax melts constantly, you might consider stacking them. That would give you a bit more room in the front of your cabinet for other things. And I love seeing all of your fur babies in your videos, especially Clyde! He makes me laugh every time.

Arika, we live in an old home and have non-standard sized doors. When we needed to replace one we bought a larger door and cut it down to fit. Worked well. Just thought I’d share in case you haven’t thought of it. If Marion can cut it down it’ll be really inexpensive too!

Enjoyed the video Aricka thank you and you are right everyone taste is different and that's what makes us all unique! But I think you have wonderful taste I have a few similar things like you but that's the way life is as long as we are happy with our homes that's important we have to look at it every day! I moved to the country 3 years ago and still don't have things finished we did our kitchen first and it took a big chunk of our money that we did not except to be but that's life! As for my bedroom I still did not get a carpet for it it's a big room all hardwood so I need a big carpet and it's not cheap, and I'm looking for white blackout curtains still did not find any cheap ones, waiting for my daughter in-law to take to Costco she said they have good prices there so I will go check! I absolutely love your home! I would not change the wall or your hutch. I do not think it’s to much you can barely see it. But also your right it is your home! I think you have made your home so beautiful. My only suggestion would be if you could somehow have another bathroom downstairs. Having 1 bathroom is hard. Maybe not for just the 3 of you but when you have everyone over. But I truly love your home!

I'm making dinner & trying to watch you at same time. I've often bought baskets that don't fit side by side in drawers! Yours turned out great, I've been working on same things around here. I don't have a junk drawer so I divided that stuff into baskets with lids and they went in laundry area on top shelf. Kind of a pain getting the step stool but luckily, it's not that often. The house my husband grew up in had that same door. I managed after a ton of searching to find one that fit. His was like 31.5 wide. Everyone said 32 would fit nope. Just keep looking. One will pop up. Can't wait to see what u do in the meantime
