How do you introduce yourself to a new client? Do you run down all of your duties or abilities?

I do indeed! I also share in the reality that talking to a SW might be scary especially with all their prior experiences or stereotypes. So I validate that and proceed with how I hope to collaborate in their care and how they can utilize me! I also stress the importance of my goal, which is to advocate!
