Thanks for your video. Do they pay per case finished? Or hourly for the whole day? Do they offer part time as well? Or say you can't be working another job while working that position ? ( I have read ads one company trying to tell people they can't work another job due to conflict of interest .. or maybe they don't want the nurses quitting and going back to their previous job?) . Hey! Thanks for watching! So it honestly depends on what you like. I personally don't really like bedside. UAS has no physical stress and as long as you manage your day well you will have work-life balance. So you don't wait until night to finish up your work after seeing members because then it will seem like you are working the entire day. The only thing that gets annoying for me is when I have members that cancel appointments last minute and then I have to find a replacement, but if you have a good scheduler they will help you. I think it's definitely worth trying out seeing how you like it. I hope you get hired, all the best!

Thank you. No every one I've ever seen have alot of ailments and are eager for the nurse to do the assessment do they can get more services. Some neighborhoods are not the best, and I do get afraid of going into the building, but thank God so far I've never been in any danger 🙏

The assessments are 2.5-3 hours. It’s 300-something questions and you have to document as well. I just started and I’m pulling my hair out.

Hi! I just left bedside and am offered a per diem position as UAS hybrid. How is the pay and work life? All the recruiters are hyping up saying we can make more than travel nursing money if working 40-60hrs a week

Thanks for the video! I am in NY state and occasionally get emails recruiting me for this position... here it's usually a company that is contracted with the State DOH to do the UAS assessments. The pay is REALLY good (for my area of NY state) and I always wonder "what's the catch??" The job sounds great, and would be a good fit for me and my background. Is there a high turnover rate or frequent lay offs?

That was on of my biggest concerns but thank God so far I haven't encountered any moments where I didn't feel safe. But I suggest you look up the area the day before so you know where you are going and you are more mentally prepared. Also always call your members the day before and let them know what time to expect you. If you see something sketchy don't go in the building call your manager and let them know, you could do the assessment on zoom, if your company allows that, your safety if 1st always and no matter how safe you might think the area is always be on guard!
