You may be confused as I put up a very similar video a few years ago… I have since switched universities!
I left Yonsei University due to personal reasons, which I will go into in another video! For now, I am in Hanyang University and am having the time of my life!

Hello there! Do you happen to know if the medium of instruction for the English literature course is English or not in Hanyang?

Jungu I believe the English literature course is taught in Korean but I am pretty sure that Hanyang has an English literature course

Hello, I am hoping to become an English Language teacher in Korea as well, are there any tips I should know for teaching?

Hey, sure, I always give 2 major tips: The parents want to be as involved as possible: that doesn't necessarily mean that they have to be a part of the teaching process, but they will expect you to break down what was taught in the lesson at the end, and possibly provide them with a lesson plan for a month. Secondly, Korean kids have a very difficult time with vocabulary, and it helps a lot if you know some Korean words to illustrate your lessons better.

Ahmed Ibrahim it depends on what you’re looking for. Yonsei has UIC, which offers many courses, whereas Hanyang has the DIS which is an all English course, however, it is limited to international studies.

I’m in international studies - also I’m not fluent in korean but my course doesn’t have any korean courses so it’s fine. However most international students do need to study it - TOPIK, is one of the courses / tests

@@aiman7282 it depends on the university, each departments website should give you specific info - there isn’t a rule that applies to all universities I’m afraid
