@BradtheBuilder

I put the Anderson in 100 series, I like the idea that you do not have to paint the insides because it’s cladding is in and out and you can get the color black. Which is very popular. That’s a good idea to compare windows. I’ll put that on my list of things to do. Thanks.

@Brad and Eugenio I absolutely hate thieves. I wish we could track them down. Id put up a few cameras or trail cams, you could ask Flair I know hes got lots of extras. Hes selling some older ones online at the end of the month as well. This way you can keep an eye on who is coming and going as well as the vehicles and their plates. Some even give you live alerts to your phone. Last thing you want is for this just to be a TEST, for something in the future thats a bit bigger, like the tools or generator. Honestly, its a great idea for your sites, you just need a few where people come in or can leave from, itll help keep people honest and know who to fire as well, if they deny it. You can hide them or put them up high in plain sight to keep your builds safe and help stop break ins and theft. Regardless, Eugenio you have a great boss, and he will definitely make it right. Put your name on it and also write it underneath the top step (youre not suppose to step on). That way you have it hidden incase they see and erase your name on the side of the ladder side itself. Or carve it in with a pocket knife, so its permanent. I really hate thieves, im hoping someone took it by accident; especially if nothing else is missing. Hope this idea helps and doesnt happen again. Maybe Brad and Eugenio can go shopping together in a video. Thank you for another great video guys!!!

I don't care how often you change the air filters, they are not construction heaters. If the manufacturer knew you are running these now they would void the warranty. Paint and stain fumes damage motors and coils, and the filters don't stop the return ducting from getting dirty. You should value the permanent home heating appliances more. Typical GC cares more about saving money and the aggravation of supplying construction heaters has aggravated me for 43 years of HVAC contracting. Reply

Hi Brad, I hope you and the family are doing well! Did you wind up getting a timeline for the other 2 beams? Hopefully it won't be weeks but regardless it will look fantastic when it's all said and done. I'm sure you are grateful to be dealing with reasonable folks in Macy and Andrew who will have a place to stay in the newly reno'd "Haunted House" aka "The Dog House" (😉😂) in the meantime. I do understand your dislike of needing all the scaffolding, especially since by then the new flooring will be installed. I was wondering about the cabinets for the front of the bar downstairs. I am not well versed in what things are called, but essentially is Macy wanting cabinet doors without the hardware.. as in just the face of them? If so, I think that will look great. Unfortunately, I agree with her about the stone. Stone vs knee caps when sitting on the bar stools sounds painful, lol. 😳🤬😭 I have to hand it to you Brad... I couldn't handle being on the phone as much as you are. Especially since I get the impression most calls are either putting out fires, arranging subs and making decisions. Sheesh! On the other hand, being on the phone as much as you are means you've got people working and jobs getting done. It's always nice to feel needed, haha! You have to get Andrew to give you more mentions on his channels, especially when he has videos on how the house is coming along, as I know folks would enjoy your videos - they may not be aware of your channel so it may be time for a reminder. You've done very well to be over half way to your subscriber count goal in less than a year, so congratulations on that. I've no doubt you'll reach your goal of 100K soon! Thanks for another great video (and reading another long comment from moi🤣). Your camera man and editor (not sure if they're the same person) are very talented. A huge pat on the back to them!!!👍🏼👏🏼👍🏼 Take care, Heather🇨🇦

@@BradtheBuilder WOW - today!? That's impressive. See that's why you are THE guy, Brad. Turn on the charm and get 'er done, haha. It's good for business that they can and will make things happen quickly. Great for Tom and his crew too in that he can keep the scaffolds up and get them done without delay to other jobs, I'd imagine. Meant to say in my previous novel that 1) I am with your wife on port-a-potties. I'd rather wait too! 2) I'm with you as far as climbing ladders. I'm ok with heights as long as I'm in a plane or on land (mountains, balconies-within reason, etc.), but on a ladder or a rooftop with no railing and my legs turn into a puddle of goo. I used to date a guy who installed neon signs often on roof tops and he'd be up on a ladder on a boom truck 6+ storeys up in the air. When he'd come down, he'd move his feet to the outside of the ladder (where you would hold your hands) and slide all the way down. Ugh! Have a great day and a great weekend, Brad.

I know you have to communicate often, but I'm still giving you shit for driving and talking!🛻📵 You need to pack a lunch just to get through that place!🪵What are you going to "borrow" from Flair next?😂 Next time, get someone to call your phone to help you find it. My husband loses his every other day!📱Hopefully, whoever stole the ladder has a rung break!🪜

I kept calling my phone with Brandon my camera guys phone and it was ringing in my truck, which meant it was close! So then I would drive around until it wouldn’t ring in my truck to figure out if I was hot or cold … it finally worked!

@Brad the Builder that's funny only because I've done similar things with my husband, lol. I have to call his phone every other day, along with looking for his keys! I told him he'd lose his head if it wasn't attached!!🤣🤣

I had my whole 12ft enclosed trailer stolen and it was packed full of tools with ladders on top. They caught the guy, found my trailer trashed and he went to jail but all the tools and ladders were gone. That basically put me out of buisness for a while. Insurance only covered so much with the deprieciation on everything. HATE THEIVES!!!
@BradtheBuilder
@BradtheBuilder Жыл бұрын
I’m so sorry to hear that… We all hate thieves and we all pay the price for these guys because it drives up all of our Insurance costs, on top of that Insurance doesn’t pay for much when there is a claim… Maybe the insurance companies are the thieves?🤔
