I am not the sort of person who wants to do things over time. Partially that is because one's life changes, we all change in our tastes, etc. I want things as I want them, then I'll move in and use them, and they can stay that way for the duration unless they cease to be functional. I pay careful attention to supplies, decor, housekeeping. But, I have no interest in doing any of it over and over again. I have art to do and people to be in relationship with and life's crises to contend with, so will not put the energy into ongoing relationships with things and their purveyors. It probably saves me a lot of money to not have to re-do everything all the time, too. On top of all that, I will be ruthlessly practical, if I must. Therefore, I am very interested in the spot where the midnight violet easy chair looks best, but will place it where it best serves the readers who will need to be near natural or otherwise full-spectrum light to do that. Form follows function. LOL. How would your adorable dog get out of the car if there was a fire or accident that involved it? Is this a different bathroom from the one you recently reno'd upstairs? OK, so you cooked the riced cauliflower and then more or less toasted it on the skillet? That dish looks totally delish.
