When I was in the hospital, I felt like the nurses were the ones who instilled hope in me to heal and recover. Nurses that weren't in my rotation anymore would still visit to check up on me and it really made that much of a difference. I even had one visit me after her shift was over on her birthday. You guys are seriously angels in human form. Thank you for your dedication, sacrifice, and hard work!

Hey Miki if you are having a hard time with Mask-ne use a face powder that is for anti pollution (I use one by revlon) it helps prevent stuff in the air from getting into your skin and as someone who wears a mask for 9 hours a day now it has really helped me reduce my horrible mask related breakouts. (they have other products in this line too if powder isn't your thing) Hope that helps!!

@@iamrinn7699 Oh no! Please don’t think that. Thinking about what you could’ve done will just make you sad. I started when I was 18 and I did not do my best because I overwhelmed myself and did not balance my classes well... my advice to you would be to not do the same. Really make a schedule where you can distribute your time wisely, especially for the science courses. Best of luck to you! You will do great☺️

I’m a veterinary Technician, so we deal with many kinds of people animals and their owners . So they way I look at it is to put yourself in your patients and their families shoes, talk about what could happen if they don’t follow, if they are being rude understand that they may be scared, or maybe they need more explanation. Lastly is don’t take anything personally, remember that they are not lashing out at you, but the situation in general.

Majority of the time their reactions and behaviour has nothing to do with you. It is them simply reacting to their high emotions and hospitals aren't a very pleasant place to begin with so these emotions are amplified.

I understand the 12:30 hr shift as i do one too. Just be careful whilst handling mask. Take it off completely, wash your hands then only eat your food no wonder how busy you are. People look upto you

Hi Miki, my name is Catherine and I'm 17 years old. I'm currently studying to become a Rad tech. Yes I know I'm young ahaha but if you see this message I need your input. So I'm not sure if I want to do this job for the rest of my life since I'm so young. I have thought about going to Law school but this would mean I have to stop my program and completely change everything. I have completed my first semester in Rad school and I have 5 more to go. I'm thinking of changing because the salary where I am isn't great but as a nurse, would you say that working in a hospital and being on call is worth it? I know it's a hard question to ask since its not the same job but this is what I'm not sure about. (The salary, the amount of hours you work for, day and night shifts...) Anyway if you have any answers for me that would be really nice, I don't really know anyone who can help me right now and I need to make a decision before Christmas. If I can say one thing is that, if I do change I will have a lot more schooling to do because of how our school system works where I live. In 3 years I will have a job at a hospital but if I change in 3 years I will be getting into law school and will need to complete around 4 more years of school. Anyway thank you again and I love your videos :)

Girl I feel you. I'm a tech and it works the same way, one of the new techs I was training was like "when do you go to lunch" I'm like girl when I CAN 😂 sometimes I go I go when I'm like 2 or 3 hrs in of I feel like it's gonna be busy, if it's a steady busy I just go after second set of vitals and rounding are finished. And sometimes I'll just be like ok got all my vitals done, have them auto saved, and just have the computer auto enter them for me 😂 Def feel you about the pee break. The other day I was like why do I gotta pee so bad and then realized it's been 10 hrs since I sat down to pee
