Hey there Tal & Mads , hope this finds you both well. Nurses hold a special corner in my wee heart. My wife was diagnosed with melanoma on her brain stem in 2007. She had two surgeries a month apart and then radiation treatments at LHSC and during this time all of the Nurses were so awesome in their care & compassion towards her and myself. Donna fought the cancer valiantly for 3 1/2 years and crossed over to the other side in Sept of 2010. I fell apart so badly that I was admitted to the hospital and unbeknowing to the staff I was put into the same room as my wife was when she had passed away , I came very close to crossing over , I was standing in the threshold of the sweet bye and bye and three times Nurses brought me back and the third time I swear I heard my wife's voice say " It's not your time yet my Love " , that was rough. The Nurse held me for what seemed like hours until I stopped balling my eyes out. I will always and forevermore have the upmost respect for Nurses for it is they that save our lives plus do all of the dirty work as well. Thank you and your shiftmates for what you do. And thanks for the two of you for the awesome ladies that you are. Be well .. catch ya on the flip side .. Cheers.

I’m just binge watching your channel after seeing you two pop up at The Vanwives home in Canada. I LOVE the Vanwives! And I am loving your channel. I didn’t want to post until I caught up - not sure how you are notified if there is a new comment. I am a younger retired RN and LOVED watching Tal at work! On the flip side, what you do Mads is so essential for you to keep getting viewer support! I love your travels, regardless of it’s with the van or not, but I live vicariously through you watching your journey! I’m getting to a point where it isn’t good for me to travel anymore, and I’ve never done any hostel type sleeping. It is intriguing but unnecessary for us. Again, living through your channel and the Vanwives and off grid w/jake and Nicole. I love your cooking and am leaning that way (vegan) but my husband never would go without meat, and I’ve never worked with tofu or meat alternatives. I find it intimidating as my taste is quite lacking in food right now. I will get there though - need the nutrition!! Thank you for sharing parts of your lives with us!! Take care. 🤍

It was so fun watching you ladies at work seeing how you do things. I've always wondered how the editing is done. As for Tal, you said no one says it's fun going to work in a hospital. Guess I'm a rare one that does as back in the 80's and 90's. For around 9 years I worked as an EMT in a hospital emergency room. I did everything from cleaning and stocking rooms to helping to work on patients to putting away the bodies if the patient when they passed away. I also got to help / be there when a number of babies were born; usually in the ambulance garage. Anyway, enough about me; it was nice to hear about your plans for the future. Oh, and Tal, purple was the color of the scrubs I wore in ER, lol. Bernie ❤

I flew from Boston to LA California then La Paz Baja with my dog. I stopped in LA at my daughters house for a couple days to give my dog a break. My veterinarian insisted on using Valium for my dog. I was skeptical. I tried the Valium out a week before to see if the dosage was correct and how it impacted him. After that I felt comfortable. Hello, I’m new to the channel. Found you guys through Van wife’s and been watching a few videos and enjoying them. I’m a cancer patient and have had bone marrow cancer (Multiple Myeloma) for almost 9 years. It’s almost 9 years of chemo and have had a Stem Cell Transplant in May of 2014. It didn’t last very long and was back on chemo in 6 1/2 to 7 months. Most of the cancer I have is on my spine and I have two broken vertebrae, which causes a lot of pain. So I’ve been on Velcade and Revlimid for a long time and a fentanyl patch for pain. Recently in May I was having a lot of pain on my spine and had new cancer on my T7 vertebrae, which I had to go for 10 radiation treatment. Now I’ve been waiting to see what the radiation has done and if I’m going to need some kind of surgery to strengthen and support my spine. Nurses like you are awesome and I thank God for people like you for helping cancer patients get through some of the toughest times in our lives. Like I said, I love your channel and keep up the good work you guys are awesome. ❤

Tal and Mads, a word of Caution about the scooters! Don't EVER take them into your house! They can (and DO) explode into flames spontaniously at any time! (at 4'0clock pm or 0400hrs!) People in NYC have taken them into their apartments so they won't get stolen leaving them out and many fires have been caused by the batteries in the scooters and unfortunatly many have lost their lives in the fires that they have caused! Just a word of Warning. I would not want to see you two lovely young ladies get involved in a situation like that. Oh, and I really enjoy your Videos!!! Regards, Tom

Question? Is it common practice in Canadian medicine to not staff code teams in Oncological facilities? Here in Mid Missouri (Jefferson city) Code teams are common place. I've worked at several facilities from a rural county hospital in Iowa, 90 beds, a level 2 Trauma center 250 beds in Lake Charles la, to a 167 bed acute care facility in JC. Retired RN CEN TNS. Week end House Administrator. just concerned about the Legal ramifications, Allen Kenning.

I have been on a plane with passengers who had their dog with them at their seat. I guess it depends on the airline. 💕💕

Yes we will have to do some more airline research for sure! Thanks for watching Gerry! See you next Sunday ☺️

Hi guys, love the videos! Europe has a number of rules. Suggest you chek out Camper Vibe's You Tube. They are from England and just returning from a Norway Sweden trip - I'm sure they'll be able to give good pointers.

5:12 I'd say it's Adobe Premiere Pro. It's listed as Premiere Pro on the top left. That's where Apple shows the name of the current active app.

Hey Adley! SandsOfArrakis is correct - we use Premiere Pro. Thank you for your kind comments each and every week!! We'll see you next Sunday :)

I haven't taken a dog to Europe, but I did bring one home from Brussels. It was the most expensive free dog ever. The dog crate is wrapped on a palate, and there must have been a pressurized compartment in the cargo hold. I wouldn't do it again, too traumatic. Might be best to let Mom and Dad watch Bowie if they will.

Hey Ladies! Our earlier comment this morning was removed. I guess it was because of the tech difficulties?…Anyway…We’ll repeat what was written earlier….”Make her proud and double the garlic” 😆…How cute is Tal in her Scrubs?! ❤️…How convenient it is to ride a Scooter to work! 😃…I’ll be gathering ingredients for a stir fry. You are triggering me every week! 😃…Really interesting to see a part of the editing process. Great work Mads!…I guess there’ll be a stop in Nova Scotia to see a certain Couple? ❤️…Traveling in Europe will be EPIC!…Sending hugs 🤗 & kisses 😘🙏❤️

Hey Angel and Kiki! Thank you so much for commenting again! We did see and reply to your first comment but because of some technical issues we had to reupload our video and lost the original comments. Thank you for all of your support!! We love all of your reactions to our videos. See you next Sunday 🧡

Check out “ Overlanding Sophia” KZbin…she just flew here 2 dogs to Canada from the UK along with their van to explore North America. Maybe they can give you some insight on the reverse process.
