I started cooking up as a hobby but Rio made me realize it’s more than that. I’d be lying if I said Rio wasn’t my inspiration to cook up daily. A year has passed of cooking daily beats from scratch and I have finally found myself, the progress is showing and seeing my sound evolve is the best feeling. Rio is my guidance because whenever I’m getting burnt out, I remember how much Rio has achieved at only 20. The consistent goat.

Thanks for the videos, Rio. More ideas for videos: 1) the three biggest struggles you faced while becoming a better producer and the specific tricks that let you overcome those problems 2) the three biggest changes to your mindset that helped you make better music ("Don't overthink shit" being a good example) 3) your tricks for creating those crazy elaborate harmonies and melodies -- what's in your bag of tricks that helps you figure out quickly what works and what doesn't? What goes through your head when doing that? (I'm especially curious about writing good countermelodies).

Love this Format Rio. Watching this has thought me more than some tutorials, it’s good to see the humanness behind everything and just the raw actual process, seeing how you guys play around with sounds and plugins but not just perfectly cut for KZbin helps to understand more of the process too Thanks for pouring out into the community man 🤙🏼

Amazing video rio I love how you just showed the rawness I’m 17 and I want to become a huge producer so I’m going to college to do that but i I want to start early and I always have a hard time on KZbin to figure out where to begin because theirs not a set example on where you begin I would say keep making Vlogs like these and make a beginner tut down to the literally basic of what you’ll need to know to be successful keep up the great work rio!

i think a great idea will be a video of your sending beats/samples routine, how often do you hit back for material that you send, you use email to send out files or you just send messages, dropbox links, how you name the folders that you´re sending, all of that i think it will be very helpfull!!

Those pedals are 🔥 the plasma is my go to on 808 distortion and the Hedra is a great delay/pitch shifter. It can widen mono things but it also has built in auto tune and pitch shifting for vocals and can be used as a vovcoder with midi. Definitely worth learning

i think you should do some tutorial Simon servida in depth type videos about one element of the beat at a time like, how to do 808s, how to arrange or sound selection. When I was starting I watched a lot of Simon servida but his style of making beats isn't that I could say trap oriented so a new fresh look on tutorials with straight to the point editing would be awesome and I think it would pay off really good
@barmiiiii2 жыл бұрын
and I know everyone wrote about that already but I think that the details in the videos are key so the editing, time stamps and attention holding video arrangement

Could u make like a video where u show couple ways how to start off a new beat because i always watch your livestreams and u just never seem to struggle with starting the beat, for me personally and i think im not the only 1 is starting the beat or getting the 1st idea down for the beat, that would be really awesome... btw congrats on BACK OUTSIDE BOYZ im watching your videos for a longer time and its rlly crazy to see how much u grind and progress. I really need a full blown bot explanation about mixing vocals and beats. I always watch other tutorials about it, but I never really catch on or seem to really learn much (I do have a learning disability) so it would help tons if you could make a full blown beginners guide to mixing (like explaining what each knob does in a plug-in and when you should and shouldn’t use those knobs or even plug-ins)
