@@Sanyu-Tumusiime try giving any interview in India and then you will know why isn't he applying (India has a huge number of engineers and with such a huge number comes competition and you need to prepare for it and maybe that's what he is doing (preparing himself for dsa and cp).

​@@miso-tech Umm Pike place is definitely the most touristy spot lol. I'll just name a few places: The gum wall, first ever starbucks both at pike place. Starbucks reserve is really cool, space needle, and the museum of pop culture looked pretty cool though I never got to go there personally. Also they have really cool parks and stuff, check out discovery park. Has really great views of some of the lakes. Lastly, I'll be returning full time next month

Thanks for your videos! Just curious, but how would you compare the competitiveness of getting into top 10 colleges in the U.S. (i.e. Ivies) with getting an SWE internship at one of the FAANG companies (or hot startups like Snap) as a CS Major from one of the target schools?

In my limited experience, I'd say it's significantly easier to get a SWE internship at a FAANG company, just because the process is a lot more merit-based with SWE recruiting versus the high ambiguity and variable nature of college recruiting. Basically if you can leetcode well, get an interview and pass your behavioral questions, you've got a great shot!

really, I'd love to know why you prefer WFO! Personally, I like having the WFH because it'll give me the freedom to work from wherever whenever once I start full time and that's really valuable to me.

@@miso-tech I think as FTE ofcourse WFH is a better option as within 2-3 months you are basically bored by all the perks. But as an intern and that even 1st software job, I think wfo teaches you so much when it comes to networking and experiencing what big tech companies have to offer.

Man. how is the workload as an Engineer proper at Amazon? Kind of amazing working environment. Compared to my current revolution era building and office, it is like night and day. Though my office has a nice big red flag though. Im software dev for China's state owned enterprise. The workload here is like somedays you only got to play video games while very rarely had to code overnight. overall kinda relaxed. Coz is government taxation related project. The customers test bugs for us most of the time. XD

Thank you! I would say its just important to make sure your resume has interesting projects / work experience, that you study leetcode and can solve easy and medium problems, and ideally you would know people at amazon to give you referral so you can get the interview started!
