Ell, I was on my own with my pair (it was 40+ years ago) but I used to swear blind by bouncy chairs. You can feed them both at once. As for winding, one over your legs and one over your shoulder to burp both at once. You are doing great!

My mum had twin sisters on her own, she would feed one, then wake the other and get them into a routine of one is fed first and then the other. It’s hard but it does work. You’re doing amazing on your own!💗

The boys are getting so big. They have grown so much. I love how Noah have a conversation with Dad...his little smile is priceless. Mom, enjoy the moments whenever Ari sleeps while Noah is awake. Perhaps he's giving you a break...look at it as a blessing while one sleeps and the other eats. They're absolutely adorable and growing fast. This brings back so many memories. The colic/reflux days with twins are hell but it doesn’t last long and will soon be a distant memory. I would love to tell you it gets easier but there are just different challenges my two are 20 months now and running circles around me everyday. Literally.

One thing you could do which helps, is to not change their nappies at the 5.30am feed. Just get them down for another hour or 2. When they are sleeping through the night you wont change their bums...they'll be fine, and will help them go back off to sleep if you dont wake them so much. God bless you, youre both doing brilliantly!

@@fabandell absolutely! My youngest of five is now 12. I've had 16 continual years of puberty. As one was growing out of it another would be starting. Sixteen years - my god I need a medal 🤣🤣 My twelve year old is on the verge - send help 🤣🥰

I would definitely love to see how you do the evening shift! I think you're doing a fantastic job with the babies on your own! I agree with you both on dropping the one feed, you just need to gauge what the boys want and if you noticed they are not wanting to feed at half past 5 then skip it, they will definitely let you know when they decide their hungry! The babies are really growing well. Just trust your instincts about when to feed them. Throw your clock away ( metaphorically) and feed them when they let you know they’re hungry.

Wish they had them pillows when I had my rwimlns 25 years ago. We used to have to feed ours with both sat between our legs on floor. As ours always fed at the same time. The boys are soo cute. X

I am a father of twin sons .. 3 years old now .. me and my wife are both working individuals .. it has been a very tiring journey. But i love my kids .. day by day things are getting better .. now we both husband and wife get some time for ourselves. But in the start it was really very tough keeping jobs together.

When my twins were babies, we put the bottles in the dishwasher. Yes it’s probably not recommended but it saved much needed time, and they’re going in the steriliser after so should be fine. When you’re on your own try some white noise (app) for the baby waiting to feed, was a life saver for me when they are too little to master feeding both x

Yes my first twin burps very easily while the second one the tiny one takes forever to burp. Lovely video and you are doing a great job. One of my twins is also double birth weight but the other is close and has gained some. Thank you for the side feeding tip.

I LOVE watching your videos and seeing the boys .You and Fab are doing such a wonderful job in their early months which are never easy with one baby let alone two! Really enjoy how realistic you are ( loved the comment - I live with a man - why are your dishes in the sink when the dishwasher is right here!) But a few years ago I baby sat my niece's twins I had one foot on the bouncer keeping one twin quiet and other one holding rocking him. I take my hat of to you both it was a handful. My son is a couple of weeks shy of turning 3 and he woke up every single hour of every single night for 2 of those 3 years. And although I was married, it was like being a single parent within the relationship, so I handled having the baby all day and night alone. This last year it has been just my son and I as we left the UK back to my home country, but my son has started sleeping better -due to age I suppose, though he still wakes up twice a night or so. At first I wasn't worried too much about being awake all night as I was diagnosed with severe insomnia when I was younger, but during the night when I couldn't sleep, I at least rested. Now with a child, resting is not possible, so I'm just counting down the days until he is able to manage better on his own with age (at the same time, not wanting to miss his being a little one). Well done on working together as a supportive team and handling being twin parents! The time really does go fast and you'll miss their newborn selves where they crunch up their little legs and give the best snuggles. You're doing a great job!

I feel your pain with how fast they outgrow their clothes! My 5 month old just went into 12-18 months clothes 😳 I've found there's a lot of difference in the brands though, I used to go by the weight on the tag as they are different for example Asda ran quite small in 0-3. You're absolutely smashing it Ell (and Fab obviously getting stuck in before and after work!) X

Good Morning! You both are doing an amazing job! We had to do the same with our twins if one woke we had to wake the other. It was so much better for them as well! It is funny how you figure things out as you go! We do have a mother of twins club in our area and it was a great help hearing how ours did things! Enjoy day!

For sure! So much fun and helpful! When our twins slept the whole night for the first time I was saying to my husband something must be wrong he said they are fine no worries! They where a year old from then on they slept almost all the time through the night! Enjoy your time with them they grow so fast ours are 31 and I would love to have those times back again!

As always guys I loved watching and seeing your little fellas, although, haven’t they done well with their weight!! I told you how well u r doing!! Ellen you are a real star the way you manage them both and having a good sob is nothing to worry about, we have 5 boys and no twins and that was hard enough. I used to put an extra scoop of milk powder in last feed to fill them up so they sleep longer.(don’t tell health visitor!!) I’m sure I will get comments but my boys are aged 17-27 now and all fine🤣xxxx

That's nothing. Apparently my nan used to put a bit of whiskey in my bottle of milk to get me to sleep. 😃 Didn't our parents also put rusks in our bottles so we'd sleep longer?

@@fabandell no you should never do that as you can give your babies tummy ache! If the milk doesn't fill them up you move them on to hungry baby milk or later baby rice.
