Hey Jan! Not any school-related things that I can pinpoint. The UW has a significant Asian-American population and you'll notice that Seattle in general has a sizable Asian-American population. I would say that UW is one of the more inclusive colleges out there with lots of student organization communities and support from the school. It isn't perfect, but the study body is always trying to improve it.
