More Dr. Garza videos! Please! Perhaps a video describing the differences between a optician, optometrist and ophthalmologist? Thanks for the video and take care everyone.

To top everything off, she also wears glasses! That makes her more of an expert in optometry!

I'm a retired optician myself and I'm not so sure her glasses are even necessary. As I was watching the video in the exam room there was sever views of her from behind her looking through her glasses. The phoropter was in the background and I didn't see any minification or magnification at all through her glasses. If she has any prescription at all it has to a very extremely weak one. The store I worked in required all of the employees to wear glasses during working hours to promote sales. I remember that when a new young young was hired she hated having to wear glasses because she didn't actually need glasses. But she knew when she was hired that was a requirement. Once she got used to wearing glasses she was fine with it.

This is a rose colored view of being an optometrist-- You neglected to mention how miserable & costly 8 years of university were. Most applicants to optometry school will never get accepted. In 2024, many patients don't want to compensate the doctor for their services. Imagine being at least $ 250,000 in debt upon graduation-- then face more debt in buying or starting a practice.
